"Please also get garlic!" My mother says through the phone and I hum.

"Alright. Anything else?" I ask, grabbing a bag of tangerines as I pass by them, adding it to my cart.

"No, that's it. Thanks sweetie! Get home safely." She says before hanging up.

I quietly shop for the few items I came here for, before paying.

Our school has been on break for 3 days. Tsukishima will be coming home in three days as well. I've texted him twice already, and it seems like he's not having the best of times. He keeps saying that he doesn't know how all these guys can be so passionate about a club. Apparently there's a few bothersome senpais as well.

I walk out the store, holding the grocery bags. I pass a few cafes, humming. Hot chocolate sounds good right now, even though it's warm outside. Hot chocolate... but it has so many calories. I sigh quietly, continuing to walk.

Out of no where, I feel a hand cover my mouth, and I'm being dragged into an alley.

"Make one sound, and we'll kill you." A low voice whispers into my ear, before they throw me to the floor. The groceries fall all over the floor, and I can feel the ground scraping my skin.

"I told you, she's the perfect person to take your anger out on." A familiar voice says, giggling right after.

"Sumi" I mumble looking up at her, fear evident in my eyes.

"Ah, so you remember me? Hello Debu Debu! My boyfriend and I were having dinner, and we saw you walk by. He's been having some bad days lately, you don't mind if he takes it out on you, right?" She grins.

"P-Please don't..." I whimper.

"She said yes! It's all yours from here, babe!"

There's nothing I can do. There's never anything I can do. Even when I tried to fight back before, only worse things came from it. So I don't.

I stay as quiet as possible as this man hits me over, and over again- too scared that he'll actually kill me if I do make a sound.

My entire face hurts, and blood seeps through my shirt now. Apparently that's not enough though, because he pushes me down and repeatedly kicks me.

After what feels like forever, he stops. Everything feels hazy, and I'm too scared to open my eyes. I shut them a while ago, and I don't plan to open them any time soon.

"Fucking useless fat bitch." I hear him growl. So much anger is in his tone. How? I've never done anything to him.

I cough, and feel warm liquid coming from my mouth as well as a metallic taste enveloping my tastebuds.

"You feel any better yet, baby?" Sumi's voice is heard.

"No." The guy mutters and I close my eyes, feeling the tears spilling down my cheeks.

I feel something hit me hard, then again. He's throwing the fruit, as well as the other groceries at me. Hard as hell too. Each hit feels like he's throwing it like a baseball pitcher.

I don't know when it stops, but eventually it does. My entire body aches, and I can't move. I know I should call out for help now, but I can't. I'm so scared. I feel like if I do, the man will come back.

The sound of his nasty words he yelled at me and the sound of Sumi's evil laughter run through my mind, as I lay here, surrounded by my growing pool of blood.

Maybe I should just die. I'm such an inconvenience to everyone, it seems like I just impose on everyone's lives. Will they be happier if I'm gone? Surely they will, right?
