Chapter Twenty Three

Nora put the food in the tray then walk inside the sitting room towards Sher who was sitting on a sofa. She walk and put food on a table while he looked up towards her. He was on home rest for two weeks due to his cast and injuries and pain in left shoulder .

'I made food for you but I am not sure it is best food.' Nora said and he looked at her then nodded his head and look away. Then he picked up the plate of food and took bite to taste while Nora was looking at him judging his expression. He took in a bite and made a disgusting face clearly indicating that food was not nice but nothing surprise Nora knew that already.

'It's not nice.' Nora asked and he looked up towards her after taking on a bite

'It's alright. It still eatable.' Sher said and Nora nodded her head little disappointed that food was not that good. Sher started eating while she just stood and stared at him when after few seconds door bell rang. They looked at each other and then Nora walk out. She stopped and opened the door and found his mother and Naina standing there.

'Mum.' Nora screamed happily then moved and hugged her while Mrs Hamna also laughed and hugged her back. Then she moved and hugged her little sister and welcome them inside.

'How are you?' Mrs Hamna asked while walking inside

'Fine.' Nora answered and Mrs Hamna smiled while they walk inside the sitting room where Sher was sitting. They walk inside and greeted and Sher respectfully greeted back

'I heard about you. How are you?' Mrs Hamna asked concerned

'I am fine. Little pain but will be gone very soon.' Sher replied while they sat down on a sofa.

'Great to hear.' Mrs Hamna said

'Get Well very soon brother in law.' Naina said cheerfully and Sher smiled

'Thank you.' Sher replied

'Eat your food. Don't stop for us.' Mrs Hamna said when saw him stopped eating while food was in front of him and he nodded his head, smile then  took another spook of food and ate it.

'Did Nora make the food?' Mrs Hamna suddenly asked and Sher nodded his head

'Let me taste. She is very bad at cooking.' Mrs Hamna said and taste the food and spit it out.

'How you eating that. It's better to eat poison instead.' Mrs Hamna said

'Mum.' Nora screamed her mother name childishly and everyone started laughing

'Stop eating. I will go and make food for you.' Mrs Hamna said and Sher looked at him

'No, it's alright. Don't bother.' Sher said and Mrs Hamna shook her head and stood up

'You are my son and ill. How I can let you eat this food. I will go and make food for you.' Mrs Hamna said lovingly and he was surprised over mother's love which he never reviewed it or felt it so he just nodded his head

'And you stupid wife of my handsome son come and help me.' Mrs Hamna said while pointing towards Nora giving her order who frowned while Mrs Hamna started walking

'Mum, I am not stupid.' Nora complained while walking behind her

'Yes you are. Stupidest thing  of my life and my son as well.' Mrs Hamna said

'Mum.' Nora called mum again like a child while they both walk out leaving behind smiling Sher and Naina. He somehow loved the fact that Mrs Hamna was calling him son. He felt like having a family. Being part of a family which he never had it and might won't ever have it. As they walk out Naina started talking to him over random stuff and they came back food after half an hour later. Mrs Hamna put it on a table and sat down. Sher moved and taste the food and instantly loved it.
