Ch. 14 "Klaus"

                                                    Third Person POV 

Elena was in the library with Elijah after they just got done discussing what would happen during the sacrifice, 

"You'd think he'd understand why I'm willing to do this," Elena said 

"Why are you?" Elijah asked 

"I'm the key to breaking the curse Klaus is here because of me, if I don't stop him then he's going to hurt people it's that simple," Elena said 

"You know there's a possibility this elixir won't work I don't want to mislead you," Elijah said 

"I know the chance I'm taking," Elena said 

This surprised Elijah what automatically came to mid was the youngest Gilbert, Jayden, he observed the girl from a distance, the girl was so trustworthy, such a bright soul, this would destroy her, 

Elijah also met the girl while she was with her aunt giving him a tour of the grounds, and she held quite the conversation with him about anything and everything, he quite enjoyed her company, 

                                             Jayden POV 

I was sitting at the bar of the grill, doing homework, I was scratching my head on this, 

"Hey bluejay what you working on?" Damon said 

"Math," I groaned 

"Oh not my thing," Damon said 

"Mine either," I mumbled 

"I'll have the same," Rick said 

"I screwed up," Damon said 

"Yeah, yeah you did," Alaric said 

"Yeah," Damon said 

"Gentlemen? Little bird, Why so glum?" I heard 

I see a man I've never seen before but yet he acts like we've met before, I thought 

Damon stands, Rick looks at me, 

"Jay go home, and don't let anyone you don't know in," Ric said 

I arched my brow, 

"Now," He said sternly 

I just shrugged taking my books and walking out of the grill, 

I don't know what that was about but I don't really want to know to be honest with you, I thought walking down the street to go home, 

                                            Klaus POV 

I watched as the little bird walked out of the grill, 

"Such a shame, she's such a light and yet you all keep the fact that vampires, witches and werewolves roam this town like the plague from her," I said 

"She doesn't need to know," Damon said glaring at me, 

I smirked 

"I wonder how she would react knowing you lot kept all of this from her," I said 

They both glared at me, 

"I guess I'll leave that subject for later," I said 

                                           Jayden POV 

I walked in the house, 

"Aunt Jenna? Uncle John? Jerr? Elena?" I asked 

No answer 

"Where the hells is everyone?" I thought 

I couldn't shake this gut wrenching feeling something bad was about to happened? But I shook it off, 

Maybe it's just my nerves since a lot has happened lately I thought sitting on the couch doing the rest of my homework,
