Ch. 15"Gone"

                                             Third Person POV 

Damon and Stefan are waiting downstairs in funeral attire, after the sacrifice Elena and Jeremy came home telling Jayden the news, 

It was the first time Damon and Stefan witnessed the young Gilbert break down, the tears and the hurt, but I think what hurt them the most was they had to lie to her, she couldn't know what actually really happened, 

"We all set?" Stefan asked 

"Yeah, plenty of room with the Gilbert family plot and I compelled two of the grave diggers to do the dirty work how are they doing?" Damon asked 

"They lost the only parents they had, Elena is in shock, and Jayden hasn't spoken since they broke the news to her," Stefan said 

                                         Jayden POV 

I looked at myself in the mirror, after Elena and Jeremy told me Aunt Jenna and Uncle John were killed in a car accident, 

But I could tell Elena was lying the way she was blinking when she told me, but I just couldn't process this, the two last living parental figures we had left are dead, I thought 

I see Jeremy and Elena standing at the door way, I just walked to them 

We are all at the cemetery, I'm standing next to Ric as we watch Elena put roses on the graves, 

Why does everything have to be so painful, why does everyone I care about have to get ripped away from me, I thought 

Ric wrapped a arm around me I guess we were the only two left, 

"Come on Jay," He said guiding me away from the cemetery 

since they told me, they died I feel like I've been on auto pilot, 

We enter the house I just slowly walk up the stairs changing out of the dress and jump in the shower, as the hot water ran down my body, that's when I finally let the tears fall, the feeling like I couldn't breathe, 

The overwhelming pain of losing not one but two people you care about that you love, I thought I slowly slid down the shower wall bringing my knees to my chest as I cried burring my head in my knees allowing the hot water to wash away the tears that fall down my cheeks, 

"Jayden you okay in there," Elena asked as she knocked 

"Yeah, fine," I said in a dull tone, as I laid my forehead on my knees
