Ch. 45 "Different"

                                           Jayden POV 

My eyelids slowly flutter open. Today I feel different. I feel good. Today is my first day being a vampire. 

And I have to say it feels amazing. You see more clearly. The sounds. the smells. It's all amazing it's almost like being reborn. 

Last night Kol was teaching me some tricks and techniques on how to get blood from a person. 

There were a few times I almost lost control. But Kol helped me. He said it's going to be hard in the beginning that every new vampire goes through it. 

I sat up looking around. 

I smelled food. I concentrated on listening. 

"Is she up yet?" I hear Klaus 

"No. She's still asleep." I hear Kol

"How did she do?" I hear Elijah 

"She did fantastic." Kol said 

I hear Elijah making breakfast 

I run to the dresser to get dressed and forgetting I have vampire speed I ran to the dresser knocking everything over and I wiped out causing me to fall to the floor with everything else. 

Oops.. 

I hear rushing footsteps. 

I see Kol and the others

"Forgot about the vampire speed huh bunny." He said chuckling 

"Yeah." I said still laying on the floor looking at them

"Even as a vampire you are still a doll." Rebekah said chuckling 

Elijah helps me to my feet. 

"I just forgot." I said sheepishly 

They all chuckled 

"Come on little bird time for breakfast." Klaus said 

"Great I'm starving." I said 

Kol was picking some of the stuff that fell on me out of my hair chuckling 

We were all at the table eating. While Klaus started explaining everything to me. 

"So even though you don't need food anymore it helps with cravings for blood." He said 

"Okay." I said 

"And no matter what you do be carful of your surroundings especially when you are looking for a target." Klaus said 

I nodded 

"Stop worrying Nik she's with me nothing is going to happen when I am teaching her." Kol said putting his arm around me. 

"That's what worries me." Nik said 

"Agreed." Elijah said 

"Oh come on what's the worst that could happen. I would never let anything happen to her." Kol said 

"Umm. Guys I'm right here." I said 

Rebekah chuckled 

"She has a point. you two are talking like she's not even right in front of you." Rebekah said 

"Quiet little sister." Kol said 

"So what are we doing today?" I asked 

To tell you the truth all of this is so exciting and new to me and I look forward to every moment of it. 

Living my life with Kol, Klaus, Elijah and Rebekah never getting old or dying its all exciting and I just can't wait too see what each day with bring us. I thought as I smiled at Kol

"Well since you wiped out I say speed." He said 

"Great, Lets go!"I said getting up 

"Ah. Not so fast." Klaus said grabbing me by the back of my shirt. 

"We must talk first." Elijah said 

I nodded 

We all sit in the living room. 

"So what you guys want to talk about?" I said 

They all looked at each other.
