Ch. 39 "Concern"

                                              Jayden POV 

I stood in the shower, the water dripped down my face, I stood there in a daze, 

After I was silent and hugging Nik, 

Nik asked Rebekah to take me upstairs to get cleaned up, he sounded worried, in all the time I've known Nik, I've never heard him sounding so worried, 

I watched the drain in the shower, all the blood washing out of my hair and skin, not just any blood, my blood, 

I couldn't process this, Elena and me haven't been on very good terms since Nik showed me the truth, and I've been spending more and more time with his family, 

But I never thought she would stab me, she almost killed me tonight, I thought with my back pressed against the far wall of the shower, I slid down the wall sitting in the shower, my knees pulled to my chest, 

Still trying to make sense of it, 

                                                       Nik POV 

I was sitting down as Rebekah walked down the stairs, 

"How is she?" Kol asked concerned 

"Quiet which is unusual," Rebekah said 

"What the bloody hell happened?" Rebekah said again, 

"Let her settle, she will tell us when she's ready," Elijah said 

I went to say something when my phone rang, I looked down seeing Stefan's name, 

"Ah Stefan, nice of you to call, I would love to chat, but I'm dealing with my own family problems at the moment," I said 

"Has Jayden come by?" He asked worried not even paying any attention to what I said, 

This angered me a bit, 

"Funny you should say that, she was covered in her own blood, the only reason I know it was her's is because of Kol, any idea on what happened?" I said 

"Uh.. Yeah," He said hesitantly 

"Well?" I said 

"Elena stabbed her, she's acting strangely" Stefan said 

"Excuse me, she what?' I said 

"Stabbed Jay," Stefan said 

"That's it I'm coming over you lot have some explaining to do," I said filled with rage, no one hurts my little bird, not even her own sister, I thought 

                                              Jayden POV 

I finally got out of the shower, getting dressed in a tank top and black and white plaid pajama bottoms, 

I brushed out my hair, looking at myself in the mirror, making sure there was no blood left over from what happened, 

I walked out of the shower, and into what's my room when I'm here, 

I see Kol laying on my bed, his hands linked behind his head he was looking at me smiling, 

"Jee thought you would never come out," He said 

I chuckled putting the towel and clothes in the hamper, 

"You know us girls need time to look good," I mumbled 

He laughed, I laid on the bed next to him, 

"Talk to me bunny," He asked, 

I laid my head on his chest, thinking about what happened, 

"Can we just stay here like this for a little while longer..." I whispered 

He petted my hair, as my head rose and fell on his chest, 

"Anything for you bunny," He whispered
