Darkness is all I can remember. I hear noises... A loud car alarm going off, A lawn mower, Dogs barking. The sound of a leaf blower. echoing in my ears.
My eyes shoot open and I gasp backing up from where I was laying.
"Hey Bunny easy your alright." Kol said moving to my side quickly
I looked around in a panic everything was more clear, brighter,
I looked at Kol
"Did I.." I began
Kol nodded knowing what I was about to ask.
"I'm sorry Bunny I tried to save you. But it your injuries were too grave to save you. I'm so sorry.." Kol said
"It's okay.. It wasn't your fault....But that means... My sister did this..." I said looking down
"Hey," Kol said

"I am going to help you with all of this. We all agreed to. We are going to help you adapt to being a vampire. Nik is already working on getting you a daylight ring." Kol said
"Thank you." I said smiling sadly at him.
"Ah your awake." Nik and the others walked in
I nodded
Nik sat on the side of the bed.
"Now little bird you need to pay close attention on what I am about to say." Nik said
I nodded
"We were all very angry about what your sister did. If It wouldn't have been you it would have been Kol that would have died they were using a white oak stake." Nik said
I nodded
"That's why I jumped in the way." I said
"I remember you telling me what it looked like." I said again
"We are all grateful for that." Rebekah said
"But also sadden that you are transitioning into a vampire." Elijah said
I nodded
Nik cleared his throat.
"As I was saying I bit your sister. It is your choice to decide what happens. I don't give her my blood she dies. Or I do and she lives."Nik said
They were all paying close attention on my reaction. I looked down
"I understand what she did to me and almost did to Kol. But I just can't let her die.she's still my sister." I said
"I understand." Nik said
But then I realized something. I looked up at Nik.
He was paying close attention to me.
"What is it little bird?" Nik said
"You once said to me that you could compel vampires... Is that true?" I asked
He chuckled
"Yes little bird. What would you like me to do?" He said brushing some of my hair aside
I took a deep shaky breath.
"I want you to make her forget about me. that were not family or related." I said feeling tears welling up in my eyes.
His eyes widen.
"I realize she's not the same sister I knew after my parents died.And I just can't take anymore stabs to the heart." I said
Nik Nodded understand
"I hate her Nik...But I also can't let her die.." I said
"Consider it done little bird." He said kissing my forehead.
Nik walked out of the room. And I let the tears fall down my cheeks.
Klaus POV
I made my way to the Gilbert home. Stefan opens the door.
"Hello Stefan. you know why I'm here." I said smirking
He nodded letting me in. leading me to Elena's Bedroom.
I see she's in a lot of pain. I see Damon there beside her.
I walked to her.
"Your lucky your sister has a heart and compassion." I said bitting my hand giving her my blood. watching all the werwolf venom vanish.
"I knew she wouldn't let me die." She said
"Yes but she did make another request." I said
I grabbed her by the throat Compelling her.
"You are going to forget about Jayden Gilbert. She is just a friend. She was never apart of your family." I said
"What are you doing!" Damon said
"fulfilling Little birds wish." I said
"Now hush." I said
I looked Elena back in the eyes.
"You never had a little sister." I said
I let her go.
"Have a good day boys." I said leaving the room.
My next stop was the witch. She agreed to make a daylight ring for Jayden since it was little bird.
Jayden POV
I sat on my bed as Kol went to talk to Elijah about something.
Nik walked in.
"It's done little bird." He said walking to me.
"Thank you." I said
"Anything for my little bird. I've got something for you." He said
"What?" I asked tilting my head.
He handed me a ring that had a bird on it.
"Your Daylight ring, Can't go outside after you feed during the day without this." He said
