"Beep! Beep!"

I hurried across the busy road, it was only 7 in the morning and yet the city was already alive with the usual morning rush to work, school and in my case, headquarters.

Today was the day that we had were going to go to Light's house and swap his deathnote with the fake. We also has to install the cameras.

We were planning on telling Light that the killings had begun again and we were fairly certain he wasn't Kira. We have also moved headquarters to another building again, you know, to avoid all those crazy spazzos who worship Kira like his a god or something.

I entered the building, it was a lot more, how should I put it, snazzy than the last place
headquarters had been at. On the way in you had to go through this thingy that buzzes if you have something like weapons or whatever on you. I don't really get how we need it, but then again, you can never know with L.

I stepped into the elevator and pressed the buttons to the highest floor where L and the others who be waiting, ready to get started.

I sighed, so much had happened over the last of a few days that I could barey keep up with it all. I had met my favorite anime characters and quite literally told them their future, its not even funny.

Things had worked out so well so far, but I've got a strange feeling deep in my stomach that's telling me that some thing big is about to happen, and I doubt it will be good.

"ժíղց."

The elevator doors opened to a large room where L was sitting in his usual position in his chair. He was reading through a pile of papers, obviously making the final adjustments to the plan. Over the short time I've worked with L (OMG I can't believe that I can actually, truthfully say that I've worked with L on a case!) I've noticed more than ever how careful and efficient he is whenever he makes above against Kira.

I would happily go though with this plan without giving it much thought had I been alone, but with L here I'm now seeing it from another perspective. I've actually begun take note of all the ways it could go wrong, and ways that I could stop that from happening.

I slowly walked into the room, no one else was here yet which made things a little awkward.

"Good morning Marai,"
L greeted me in his usual tired voice.

"Hi,"
I replied yawning, I really hate getting up early, but today I guess I didn't have much of
a choice.

"Watari will be here soon with the car so make sure your ready."
He told me with looking up from his papers.

"Ok,"
I replied.

I was ready to go, so I guess I'm just waiting now for the others to arrive.

Suddenly I had a very bad feeling about this, something was definitely very wrong.
