We finally slowed our pace down once we were about ten blocks away from the now

penthouse free apartment building. Robinson stopped us as she looked at the street signs to

determine which way to go. "Follow me," She said, as we turned right. "We need to find a

room for the night. We are getting close to the Latin Quarter. There are plenty of hotels around

this area. Hopefully we will be able to get ourselves a room at one of them." She scanned the

area around us, looking for any sign of followers.

We took a few switchbacks and changed direction to make sure we were alone, but

ultimately always moving toward the same direction.

"Hey guys, how about that one over there across the road?" I pointed to a hotel with a

dark green awning jutting out towards the street.

Robinson led us across the street, "Hotel Grand Plaza, sounds perfect. Nice job

Mikhailya."

We followed her through the entrance. Josef, Fredrik and I sat in the lobby while agent

Robinson spoke with the receptionist and secured us a room. She walked back to us with two

sets of keys in her hand. "112 for us girls and 114 for the boys," She threw a set of keys to Josef.

"Let's go check out the rooms, it is been a long day. I will get to work on reaching out to

my contacts and see what I can discover for a place to begin searching for your brother."

Robinson looked at our weary faces, "You three need to try and get some sleep. Just a few hours

will do us all some good. I know you have a lot on your minds, let me assure you, we will leave

no stone unturned to find your brother."

I gave Josef a hug and looked at Fredrik, "Thanks for trying to save him, I know we will

get him back, I will spend the rest of my life searching if I have to." Then I gave him a hug, it

was a comforting embrace.

"And I will be right there with you. We need to be strong for Tannin now." He

whispered into my ear.

"Good night boys" Robinson said, breaking the silence as Fredrik and I parted and he and

Josef went off to their room.

Once we entered our room, Robinson threw off her shoes and took a seat at the small

desk in the corner. She set her pistol down, plugged a power cord into the wall and connected

her hand-held device. She started tapping the screen. I was watching her work. She was our

only hope. Without her, we were lost. Vlad and those cronies he was with had all of our money

and the backpack full of Petorium. I guess if Ivan was finally dead, I really didn't care who had

the Petorium now.

I spoke to Robinson, "If we are going to work together, I think I should know your first

name?"

She stopped tapping her screen and looked up at me, "Olivia, Olivia Robinson. I know

all about you, kid."
