Chapter 27:

Rence's POV

           "Azilah! Wait!"
Napatigil siya sa gulat nang marinig ang boses ko, lumingon siya mula sa baba ng hagdan at tinignan ako ng malamig.

Dali dali akong bumaba at nilapitan siya, i held her two small arms then straightly stare at her abstaining eyes.

"A-ang aga mo namang nagising"
She stutter.

"I should be the one to say that"
Pinagsadahan ko siya ng tingin. Complete uniform na siya at ready ng pumasok. For pete's sake, it was 6:30 early in the morning!

"May project pa akong tatapusin"

"Shut up, yan din yung reason mo kahapon at kahapon na isa. Can you stop lying?"
Medyo naiinis kong tanong.

Yes, she's been doing this for 3 days. She'll wake up so early and go to school alone. She's avoiding and ignoring me in school for so fckin reason and she'll go home without me knowing it. She'll lock her self in the room when we're both in the mansion, and that 3 days was a freakin hell for me!

"Is it fun ignoring me for three days huh? Is it fun?"
Namutla siya sa sinabi ko.

Akala niya siguro hindi ko napapansin ang pagiwas niya sakin.

"Just let me go"

"NO"
Matigas kong sagot.

"Tell me your reason. Im telling you Azilah, If that was unacceptable, you'll be punish"
I seriously said.

She gulp and look at other direction away from my eye.

"Wala... Trip ko lang"

"One more lie Azilah, I'm telling you..."
Isinandal ko siya sa pader at hinarangan ang dalawang mararaanan niya gamit ang mga kamay ko.

Anong tingin niya sakin? Stupid? She MUST have reason for ignoring me for 72 hours, 4,320 minutes and 259,200 seconds.

"Can you be reasonable, even just now?"
Medyo tumaas ang boses ko sa inis nang manatili itong tahimik. Matalim niya akong tinignan.

"So you think im unreasonable huh? Well, to tell you the truth, i ignored you because i don't want to be involved in your talk-of-the-town-lovey-dovey relationship! Ako ngayon ang unreasonable huh?! For chistian's sake Rence! May asawa kana! Can you respect my dignity even a little? Kung makikipagrelasyon ka, pwede ba yung hindi ko malalaman kasi nakaka asar!

Unti unting kumunot ang noo ko sa sinabi niya. Dahan dahan ding nag sink sa utak ko lahat ng sinabi niya. Nagpupuyos ito sa galit habang nakatitig sa akin.

"Anong pinagsasasabi mo Azilah?"

"Oh cmon, don't be too in denial."
Pagak pa itong tumawa at umirap.

"I don't know what you're saying!"

Really. Anong sinasabi niya? Karelasyon ko? Did she know that i stop knowing other girl after i started loving her?

"Kinalimutan mo na agad si Shiela na girlfriend mo huh?"

"Shiela? Shiela Morgan?"

"See? You fuckin know her!"

Muntik na akong matawa sa nalaman ko pero pinigilan ko nalang, baka kasi lalo siyang magalit at mag walk out.

"After you perform your performance in that contest, all of girl students envy Shiela so much, saying you serenades her. Then someone you two are together, Shiela didn't deny it, she even seems so happy and proud"
She explained.

I knew it, after kasi naming magperform nung contest na yun, nawala siya. Hanggang sa napanalo ko ang contest wala siya. Yes, as expected, i won. The 2nd placer was the jerk, Knox. And the 3rd was the flirt, Gien.

I smirk, i lean closer then whisper to her ear.
"Who wouldn't be proud to be my girlfriend, darling?"

Napalayo siya ng unti sa akin na parang nakiliti siya sa ginawa. I grinned even more!
Pinalo niya ako ng malakas sa dibdib at padabog na namang naglakad palayo. She is about to leave the sala when i called her.

" Azilah Montemayor "
Hindi malakas pero madiin kong sabi.
Huminto naman siya pero hindi ako hinarap.

Well, she maybe knows the tone of my authority.

"Come here"

She spin back slowly then face me with a frown.

"What now?" Parang bata nitong sabi habang naka pout at nakatingin sa ibang direksyon.

I sitted in the sofa and stared at her. I nearly forgot, i was just wearing robe.

"Shiela Morgan is not my girlfriend"
I started.

"I don't believe you"

"Why not?"
Nakataas pa ang kilay ko habang nagtatanong. Matigas talaga ang ulo ng babaeng ito. Why do she strongly think i have girlfriend? Didn't she know that having a wife like her is so much more enough?

"Bakit hindi sinabi ni Shiela na hindi kayo kung totoo? She smiled and chatted with those people instead"

Sa totoo lang ha, ayoko mag assume pero... Nagseselos ba siya?

"Ofcourse she'll do that, every will do that."

Napa 'huh?' siya sa sinabi ko. I chuckled then walk towards her. Inipit ko sa tenga niya ang lumipad na buhok.

"Shiela Morgan is one of our fan and she's obsessed with me. We try to get rid of her because she's virulent to be JUST a fan. Since she's is famous and rich, everyone thinks she is my girlfriend because of being so clingy to me. Well, that was before. I never let her come near me anymore. I have my wife "

Utomatiko siyang namula sa huling apat na salitang sinabi ko. She gulp then took one step backwards.

" Now my side was clear, would you mind to explain too? "

"Anong naman ipapaliwanag ko sayo"

Umiling iling ako.

"After mo malaman yun, iniwasan moko. So what it means?" i grin.

Humakbang ako ng isang beses palapit sa kanya kasabay ng pag atras niya.

"Are you affected?"

One step

"Are you hurt?"

One more step until she have nothing to run to.

"So you really like me huh..."
She automatically turned red.

Kinulong ko siyang muli sa braso ko.
"A-ang kapal mo talaga R-rence!"

Inilapit ko ang mukha ko sa mukha niya. Pinagpapalo naman niya ako kaya niyakap ko siya. Softly and lovely...

Napahinto siya sa ginawa ko.

"Admit it, cause i feel the same way too"

My heart accelerate even more. Shit ito naba Rence? Aamin kana ba?

"What are you saying?"
Kinakabahan niyang tanong.

I hug her tighter and shut my eyes, i rest my face in her shoulder and let my heart lead my whole system.

"I like you, Azilah..."
