You've carried me through the hardest of days.
The one who's always there for me when I feel alone. You're sad too when I see her and how he stays,
The only one who understands what I feel in this tone.I can't describe how grateful I am to have you
But, I can't say truthfully that I like who you are.How do I say to the one always there, that I can't stand you?
How do I say that you'll have to raise the bar?I can't believe I have to write this in the first place,
A note to say how much I despise all of you.I wish I could just have some time, a little space.
But, I don't think I'll ever be able to love you.I know this is sad, believe me, I know.
I just hope some day I will be able to seeWhat I can do to realize you're not the foe.
I'm sorry, but right now, I really hate me.~a poem by Elizabeth Kay~
