"Blood is thicker than water." You say as if you speak for everyone, but not for me.
Water may be in the tears I shed, but at least it is not in the red escaping my open scars.
Blood is the very thing that stains my precious white a gruesome eye sore of a color.
While water is what erases the stain, the bitter taste of betrayal and their harsh words.
Water is what puts my mind at ease, something as simple as the pattering rain.
While blood is the very salt rubbed into my already bleeding wound.
So, yes. Blood is thicker than water, just as everyone always seems to say,
But do not ever forget that water is so much more than just it's consistency.
