To the person who gets to hear "I love you" For the first time on this day, I hope that it's everything you've always wanted And leaves you with no idea what to say.
I pray it overwhelms you with so much joy And even makes you want to cry! Let out your tears of pure happiness You deserve someone else who will try.
I know you'll be scared to love again And that is completely okay. You may get nervous, but I know you'll be alright. It's normal to feel this way.
So, if someone asks me later on, "How was your day?" I'll tell them the honest truth "It could have been better, but someone felt loved today."
