When you like a plant
Maybe you'll pluck a leaf
Look at it daily and smile
And wonder in disbelief"What makes it so special?"
The days move forward
And your leaf starts to brown
And then, what's that word?Propagate. You'll learn how
Just to watch your leaf
Grow into something more
And a sigh of reliefWill escape your lips
As your leaf becomes
A fully matured plant
And from then you'll succumbTo the knowledge that your
"Like" sprung wings of a dove
And grew with the days
To then become a "love".~a poem by Eli Kay on feelings~
