- a thousand butterflies -

"i prefer you call me san lang."

after hearing the word "san lang" , Xie Lian experienced a sudden headache , his vision blurred and appeared a figure dressed in red calling out to him"gege". Hua Cheng noticed this and reached out his arm to Xie Lian  making sure he wouldn't fall , he inquired in a panic, " XIE LIAN ARE YOU ALRIGHT ?". 

 AUTHOR'S NOTE : (i know you guys must be quite confused about how Hua Cheng has never called  out to Xie Lian by his name , you guys will soon figure out my motive behind doing so.)

" I am alright San Lang ." Xie Lian replied in an exhausted yet mellowed tone. 

" i don't think so you are , you want me to call your friends?" Hua Cheng said in a concerned tone while trying to make sure  Xie Lian maintained his composure.

" No , don't tell them , it would make them worry  , i feel better now San Lang ." Xie Lian instantly replied.  

"i think i need some fresh air , i should head out for a bit." Xie Lian said. 

"I am not leaving you alone , i will accompany you too ." Hua Cheng instantly replied. 

the remark from the tall man , formed a slight smile on Xie Lian's face. They both headed outside while Hua Cheng held Xie Lian's hands ever so gently , making sure Xie Lian won't fall again.The sweet gesture by Hua Cheng made Xie Lian feel ever so slightly flushed. 

"Are you feeling better now? Do you want me to get you some water?" Hua Cheng asked in an ever so soft tone , which to his surprise he never pictured himself to say such words and that to a complete stranger  . 

"No , that's alright , i appreciate you coming out here with me San Lang." Xie Lian said  expressing his gratitude. 

"it was my pleasure , i am glad you are alright ." Hua Cheng said with a slight smile on his face. 

"if Xie Lian doesn't mind would you like to visit a place with me ? , I believe you feel quite at peace after you visit it." Hua Cheng asked in a subtle tone. 

Xie Lian was quite perplexed at the offer made by the tall male , he didn't know what to say , he believed he shouldn't visit somewhere undisclosed with an absolute stranger who he  just practically met an hour ago, but somewhere deep in his heart he just couldn't refuse him , he strangely felt safe with the man, he felt a deep sense of familiarity with him. 

" It's completely alright if you don't , no obligations at all." Hua Cheng said hurriedly. 

"NO! , it's alright i will accompany you , i definitely need a breather." Xie Lian instantly replied. 

this made Hua cheng felt an unnatural sense of joy , which was unordinary for him , he rarely had any reactions to any events whatsoever. 

" I am glad you accepted the offer , im sure you will feel quite content when you see the place." Hua cheng said with a visible grin on his sculptured face. 

" Well what are we waiting for , let's go." Xie Lian said excitedly. 

" Just wait for a moment , let me grab the keys of my car and then we can go." Hua Cheng replied.

" Come On let's go . " A familiar voice came from the male seated in a scarlet red Audi R8 , looking absolutely ravishing in the starlight. No wonder he is the youngest heir to the Cheng family.

Xie Lian entered the car , completely unknowing about the concealed place they were going to visit , yet he felt comfort. 

The ruby red car stopped in an ever so soundless forest , around the suburbs , the ever so subtle wind whistling around , ever so slightly caressing the young males silky hair which were let loose , the amber azure luminescence of the fireflies , made it look like a breathtaking view but as they moved further on Hua Cheng's instructions ,they came across a suburban river reflecting moonlight , a sight to behold  , a sight Xie Lian had never witnessed ever before in the entirety of his existence. 

" San Lang this is , this is magnificent , this is beautiful." Xie Lian said ever so in awe of the scenery. 

" i am glad , you like it. I always visit this place when i need my sanity back , it brings me back to life, sometimes i feel a deep sense of loss , as if i had lost something i cherished so dearly , i find myself coming back to this place. " Hua Cheng said in an ever so invested tone. 

Xie Lian felt even more familiarity with Hua Cheng , he  doesn't know who Hua Cheng is but as of  this moment he wished to cherish these valuable moments with him. 

"San Lang thank you for bringing me to this place , who knows i might find myself subconsciously returning back to this place ." Xie Lian said while slightly chuckling. 

"And you will find me here." Hua Cheng replied . 

Xie Lian couldn't help but stare right into his crimson eyes , he felt as if his eyes were poetry in itself. He felt the depth of those blood red eyes. He only could wonder what those eyes had encountered. 

right from behind their silhouettes , appeared to be what seemed like butterflies fluttered its way forming an outline on Hua Cheng's entire figure , but these butterflies weren't the ones you would see in a normal forest , these butterflies illuminated silver glow ever so brightly . Xie Lian stood startled . 

" Don't worry ever since childhood i have been coming to this place , these silver butterflies have befriended me ever since." Hua Cheng said in a comforting tone. 

a couple moments later , a thousand of silver butterflies fluttered their way right in the moonlit sky , as if there was a huge banquet awaiting for someone's presence , some of the butterflies made their way on the fingertips of Xie Lian's ever so subtle hands , Xie Lian gently caressing them. 

" they like you ." Hua Cheng remarked. 

"they remind me of you San Lang."
