TAKING place a few years after the events of the first movie. All the heroics are 16-17, living a close to normal life you can live as a super hero.
Missy, still not having any powers ( though it doesn't matter to her as much anymore ) still the "leader" after all this time and remained close friends with everyone. Well even closer to one of them, Wildcard.
Both of them have feelings for each other, but are afraid to say it due to rejection and ruining their friendship.
But when a new villain shows up ; someone with powers they've never seen before they got to find way defeat them pushing personal feelings aside.
If only it was that easy.
