Aishwarya's POV 

Next morning I woke up early and went out for walking with aunty. I wore simple grey Kurt i and leggings.

Since it's my first day, aunty offered prayers in home temple for me. Im not religious but got used to paeticipate in aunty's pooja everyday. Then I took blessings from uncle and aunty.

Aunty gave me chain with Ganesh pendent, I refused politely.

"You got into top medical college that too general surgery, we are very proud of you Aishu. I'm sure your family would have gifted something for your achievement. Don't refuse if you consider us as your family. Uncle selected this pendent for you" aunty said

I got tears in my eyes seeing their love? I thanked them.

Aunty put the chain around my neck 

I could feel glares from the devil

We had breakfast.

"Vicky, drop Aishu at college, I would have dropped but I have important meeting in an hour" uncle said 

"No" I kind of shouted 

Uncle looked at me then Vicky suspiciously 

"I don't want to give trouble, it's near. I would take cab. I will buy Scooty today" I tried to convince 

"You are not riding scooty" aunty said 

"I will buy car" I said 

"She is so rich that she can buy an apartment. She doesn't need our help. Why is she staying in our house" Vikram said angrily 

How can he say such things after ruining my life, I can't even go back to my family 

"Vicky, apologize to Aishu now" aunty shouted. I never thought I could see anger in aunty's eyes

"I'm getting late, bye" i said controlling my tears

"Aishu, wait" uncle said softly 

"Vicky, Aishu is not staying for free, she pays for rent and food. It's her hard earned money, not from her family. From the age of 18 she is managing her own expenses. Yes she is rich enough to buy luxury apartment but is staying here at my request.

You are busy with your life, no time for us. I can't blame you for that.

Aishu brought happiness into our lives, I have never seen your mom this happy and healthy in years. Aishu takes care of us like a daughter.

I don't want anyone in this house who can't respect my daughter. 

Apologize her now" uncle said emotionally 

I hugged him, couldn't control my tears anymore 

"I didn't want to take money Aishu, you insisted. When we met we were strangers but you became part of this family now.  If I take from you, I would have to take from Vicky too. Do you agree" uncle asked 

I nodded 

"I'm sorry" Vikram apologized heart fully. Of course he is Oscar actor

"It's ok Vikram, we can't trust strangers in this world. You are concerned for your parents, I understand" I said 

"It's getting late, you can't be late on your first day" Vishal said 

I can't believe he is here

"Vishal? You are here?" Aunty asked 

"I thought since it's Aishwarya's first day, I would take her" he said 

I want to kill him

"I will drop her" Vikram said 

Oh god! What's happening? I have to go with Vikram or Vishal on my first day. Way to ruin my big day

"It's ok Vicky, Vishal will take, he is her HOD. He came all the way here" aunty said 

"No mom, I would take her. I regret saying those words to her. I feel bad" Vikram said 

What is this new drama? I have to choose between them. I hate them both equally 

"I accept your apology Vikram, I will go with Vishal, anyway we both have to go to same place" I said 

"I can't be at peace, please let me drop you if you really accept my apology" he said 

Did he plan to kill me?

"Ok come with us" Vishal suggested

"It's really ok Vikram, how will you come back? It's getting late, see you evening" i said 

"I will come back in Vishal's car and pick you both in the evening, anyway I'm free today. I will give you treat on the way. Bye dad , mom" he said going to the door

"He wouldn't listen, go. All the best Aishu" aunty said smiling 

"All the best Aishu. Take care of her" uncle said 

"Thank you. Bye aunty , bye uncle" i said mentally preparing to face trouble
