Kiara was holding her forehead, massaging lightly. "Hadn't pained subsided?" Harshad inquired staring at Kiara with concern.

"I had taken painkillers, it will decrease with time," Kiara informed.

"You didn't call me." Harshad sounded annoyed and Kiara stare at him. "I had mentioned to Avni..." Kiara interrupted in the middle.

"She told me," Kiara informed pausing for a second. "I didn't want to..." she was sounding nervous, avoiding his gaze. "I wasn't sure what you wanted to tell me. I mean, I drank last night..."

"Oh my!" Harshad chuckled in humor. "Someone is nervous about her deeds." Kiara glared at his comment. "So you had a memory loss?" He raised a brow in a mischievous manner, forgetting the annoyance he held a minute back.

"I hadn't committed any sins," Kiara wanted to sound confident but it was getting difficult.

"You have! I never knew my innocent Kiara was that bold," Harshad expressed in amazement.

Kiara stared at him in worry, "what I do?"

Harshad attempted to hide his smile. "You were so overtaken by my charm. You kept repeating how amazing I was," Harshad raised his imaginary collar while Kiara stared at him in suspiciousness.

"You are lying!" She accused loudly, "I won't ever lie in my drunken state." She sounded confident in her words making Harshad's mischievousness fade away as he recalled the previous night.

"That's true, not a single word coming out of you was a lie." His mood drifted to a sad one. Kiara stared at him in curiousness. "You were speaking the truth last night. You wanted to grab some answers from Dhruv."

Kiara's orbs enlarged in embarrassment. "Though you didn't get answers last night maybe you will get them today." He confirmed making Kiara stare at him in shock.

"What are you talking about? I am not in need of any answers." Kiara sounded worried. "It was just..."

"You need it, Kiara. You should stop living in delusion. You need the answers to face the reality." Harshad sounded determined to speak the truth.

"I better live in delusion. At least it provides me with the hope that I wasn't insane. I don't feel a thing for the person who doesn't give a damn about me."

"He does feel things for you, Kiara." Harshad felt the need to confess the truth to her. He clicked on the recording but Kiara's face was emotionless. As the recording ended, Harshad took a step toward her. "Have you started hiding emotions from yourself?" Harshad inquired getting concerned at her blank face. He slowly reached to cup her face, forcing her to stare into her orbs. "Kiara," he whispered softly. "You don't need to hide feelings from me." He requested wanting to see her raw emotions.

He had unfolded the news because he had experienced that she wasn't fond of secrets between friends.

"I am not hiding emotions, Harshad." Kiara assured him, "it feels as if my feeling system had numbed out. I don't want to know if he shares feelings or not. I don't want my heart to start building hope. I want to care about him from a distance because I can't stop myself from caring about him but I also don't want to jump back into his life."
