Jhene aiko played as i stepped out of the shower, i picked my towel up wrapping it around my body.

I walked to my mirror in my bathroom over the sink and brushed my teeth.

I did the rest of my hygiene and got dressed into a calm outfit. Nothing much,

I sat on my bed and scrolled through tiktok and instagram before getting a phone call from my parents

"Hello?" I said putting my face in the camera, "hey baby, whatcha doin?" My mom asked, "nothing much I just got out the shower" i answered

My step dad James snatched the phone and showed the view of the ocean from the cruise. "Imagine not being on a cruise right now" he bragged

"Imagine not giving a fu—freak" I corrected myself, "boy, gimme this phone damn" my mom snatched the phone back

"Soo, you got any plans? What you finna do?" My mom asked me. "I don't know yet, I might see if I can go to my friend laylas house" i said

"Where does she live?" My mom asked, "she stays in sev side, it's 6 minutes away from the house." I answered,

"Ouuu, she live with them gang bangers, be careful hunny." My mom said. "Bae look at dis view" my stepdad said

"Alright ima call y'all later, love you guys be safe" i smiled, "bye hunny!" My mom said.

"See ya later bald head" my step dad said hanging up making me laugh.

I answered the phone, "heyyyy." I smiled,
"Hey gurl, you tryna come to this party on da block tomorrow?" She asked me

"Ofc, I'll come I ain't got shit to do, I dropped my parents off yesterday so I'm bored." I said

"Alright cool, but question" she asked.

"Yes what is it?" I said, "could you give me a ride? Kevin gotta bring Melanie and the rest of em ion wanna be in a car with all of them." Layla said

"Alright, what time do you want me to pick you up at?" I asked looking at the time

"Uhm, 8?" She said, "alright alright, be ready." I said before we said bye and hung up.
