STUDENTS STARED as the senior walked into the school building.
Jaisha was nervous to come back to school one week later after the fight. It was one of her worst fights ever.
Jaisha never wanted people to be afraid of her. But to be respectful and know not to play games with her. She was never a fighter and didn't go for that.
She tried to distract herself by scrolling on instagram as she walked into the cafeteria to get breakfast.
She looked around the full cafeteria as students stared at her. "You got dat!" One of the boys yelled.
She was disappointed in herself. She didn't lose the fight but she didn't wanna be known as the girl that beats bitches up.
She wanted to be known as jaisha. That's it. She didn't want that name in school.
As she waited in the line, she felt a taller figure hug her from behind, leaving kisses on her neck.
She turned around seeing Kevin. A smile lit on the brownskin girls face, "wsp ma, why yhu look so paranoid?" Kevin asked
"Nothing." She said, trying to change the subject. "Yo fight vid goin viral round da school. Niggas said Melanie left da school." Kevin laughed
"It's not funny." She said, "whatchu mean? Yeen proud you beat that girl ass? She needed that shit and somebody was gon have to do it. And you did it, shidd i be proud." Kevin said
"Iam proud of beating her. I just don't want that title as the girl who beat Melanie and her best friend up" she explained as the breakfast line moved up.
"Shit, I forgot yo ass fought ash." Kevin laughed, "yeah, but layla fought her too. I love layla so much for that. I know them bitches at my old school wouldn't have fought for me like layla did." Jaisha said
"Shit yhu right, me n layla been friends since youngins." Kay said,
"not gon lie. Layla ain't da type of girl to have female friends. Ash and her was associates. And Melanie? Shit ion even know what Dey was. Dougie forced layla to talk to her." Kay explained.
"Why doesn't she have female friends?" Jaisha asked, "wen we was in 6th grade. She was in dis crew wit some girls. They was all locked in until layla got a nigga. Which was nas." Kay said
"Damn they locked in" jaisha laughed. "Hell yeah, but they was on and off." He said
"But lemme finish— what y'all talkin about?" Layla cut kay off. "We was talkin bout what happened to you in 6th." Kay said
