Y/n's P.O.V

Elrond and I made our way back to his study, he wanted to have a proper look at the book I had picked up. From what Elrond had learned from the little bit he had read beforehand, the elf lord seemed to recognized the information he just needs to compare it with something else. After arriving back in Elrond's study,I got to work on learning more elvish as there isn't really to much I can do at the moment. Although if the book Elrond is working with turns out to be not the one he is after, then our previous activity can resume.

An hour or so after returning to the study I noticed that Elrond is once again searching for a book, as he has returned to the bookshelf
"Do you need some help my Lord?" I ask stopping my own work
"Hmm,did you say something?" Elrond asks,I get up from my place at his desk and walk over to him
"I asked if you need some help, you seem to have lost something or are searching for it" I tell the elf lord beside me.

"I'm looking for my own book I have written about this particular alliance I told of before, although it isn't where I last saw it" Elrond informed me
"When did you last see it exactly?" I ask
"Before you came to Rivendell" Elrond admits
"Ah I see your problem" I say" well you can deal with it later,we seem to have missed lunch" Elrond looks over to the clock on the wall
"So we have" On the walk to get something to eat,I see Harwin outside chatting up some other elf. I hope this means he will leave me alone.

I doubt it though, even if I told him I have a crush on someone or even a boyfriend, Harwin would more than likely continue to pester me. But I don't have either, okay that isn't entirely true as I do have a bit of a crush. A crush on the brown haired,blue eyed Lord Of Rivendell beside me. I'm not even sure when this crush started,I just know I sometimes get a feeling when I'm alone with Elrond. I don't think about love to much, I'd rather just let it happen.

As the two of us sat eating we talked about anything not related to our current,let's call it work. Considering that it is just the two of us here,it seemed even more quiet than normal
"Where is everyone?" I ask
"Outside enjoying the lovely weather" Elrond said
"The weather is always lovely here,beautiful and sunny. Not like Laathrion after master Raay died" I say,I looked over to the elf lord and could see that he is thinking about something. I waited to see what he would say.

"Since the day is nice and we aren't currently busy...would you care to accompany me for a walk" Elrond asked me,I sat looking at him for a few moments. I thought he would suggest something different entirely, since I didn't answer him Elrond said"Unless you have something else to do?"
"Oh no its not that my lord its just, I'm normally the one to want to skip work not you" I tell him.

"I thought it might help me remember better and I'd like your company" Elrond said
"See this is why you are the wise one" I say smiling "I would have used the time outside to do nothing, but a change in scenery could be beneficial" Elrond smiled at my answer as he got to his feet
"Shock horror the grumpy elf actually smiled" I say dramatically as I also got to my feet
"I think Y/n you are the most dramatic elf in Middle Earth" Elrond told me as we headed outside.

"I shall take that as a compliment, my good elf" I say bowing, this made Elrond laugh at my antics
"You have made the days here so much better Y/n" Elrond said
"Its nice to be appreciated" I say,the two of us stepped out into the sunshine. I take ahold of Elrond's arm which surprised him slightly "Since this was your idea,where to?"
"....um...I hadn't actually thought about that.." Elrond admitted.
"Fair enough, let's just walk and see where we end up" I suggest, we set off taking a slow walk around the grounds of Rivendell enjoying the many beautiful things to look at.

Elrond's P.O.V

As Y/n and I walked,I watched as she admired everything about her. From the trees to the flowers and the sky its self
"I don't think I have ever seen anything more beautiful than Rivendell" Y/n said
"I have" I say smiling slightly as Y/n turned her gaze away the sky to look at me
"Yes well I haven't exactly been anywhere, and between here and Laathrion this place is the more beautiful of the two" Y/n told me
"That isn't what I meant" I said quietly,yes Rivendell is a truly beautiful city, but the elf currently hold my arm is far more beautiful.
