Still Elrond's P.o.v

The walk I suggested to Y/n certainly proved to be beneficial, just not in me remember where the book is. I got to talk with Y/n undisturbed by work and visitors, and I felt a lot more refreshed than when we had set off. I'm not sure how long we have been out here for,an hour,two or maybe three. All I care about is that Y/n is happy and I am the cause of it,it felt right to make Y/n happy after all the years of being sad for being the only elf in a human town.

I had meant to invite my son in law Aragon here to talk to Y/n,he had been in a similar situation but the other way around. Aragon had been human but grew up here among us elves,but unlike Y/n he wasn't made to feel unwelcome. I turned my gaze to look around me and I noticed the young elf Harwin that had been pestering Y/n. I don't like that boy,if he didn't leave Y/n alone I would make him. I placed my other hand on top of Y/n's that is holding onto my arm,she either didn't notice or didn't care. We carried on until Harwin came to us.

Y/n's P.O.V

I'm enjoying my walk with Elrond that is until Harwin had to come over to us
"Y/n do have a moment,I would like to talk with you about something?" Harwin asked me
"I know what you want to talk about Harwin and the answer is still no" I tell him
"If you don't mind we would like to carry on with our walk" Elrond said,he appeared to be almost glaring at Harwin
"We" Harwin said the word as if it disgusted him,I looked down and saw that Elrond had his hand ontop of my own,I hadn't even noticed he had done that.

"Yes we pea brain, there are two of us" I tell Harwin, my outward attitude might be sassy but my stomach felt all funny and floaty, like something is flying around in there
"Fine I shall leave you to it" Harwin huffed before walking off again,it was then I hear Elrond say
"I dislike that elf"
"That's not like you my lord?" I say
"What's not like me?" Elrond asks
"You not likeing someone" I said,Elrond looked down at the floor before looking back up at me and saying
"I think we should head back inside"
"OK"

I wonder why Elrond didn't answer my question, I shrugged it off as we made are way back inside. When we did arrive I see that Lindir is waiting for Elrond
"If you need me for something later,let me know" I say reaching up and kissing the elf lord on the cheek. I had no idea what possessed me to do so.

Lindir's P.O.V

I waited as Y/n said something to Lord Elrond before kissing him on the cheek,as she walked off I walked over to Elrond. He is still stood in the same space and is watching Y/n,he raised a hand to his cheek and touched the place Y/n had kissed. I think that Lord Elrond is in love with Y/n
"My lord" I say trying to get the older elf's attention
"Yes Lindir" he said
"Leoglas is here to see you my lord" I say,it takes a few moments for what I had just said to register with Elrond
"Alright" he said still not fully with it.

I lead Elrond to where Legolas is waiting to speak to him,although in his current state I doubt Elrond will be much use. Whilst Legolas talked to Elrond, who wasn't paying much attention I stood beside him. From what Legolas is saying it seems to me like some elves from Mirkwood are on a sort of tour of Middle Earth and are heading here next,and they would like to know if they would be welcome to stay for a bit.

Elrond's P.O.V

I am lost in my own thoughts until I felt someone place there hand onto my shoulder,I looked at the owner of the hand and see that is Lindir
"My Lord are you alright, you don't seem to be paying much attention to Legolas" the elf beside me said
"I'm sorry Legolas I was distracted, you where saying" I said trying to focus on the prince of Mirkwood and not on Y/n. I see Legolas glance at Lindir before saying
"A group of elves from Mirkwood are on a journey to visit as many parts of Middle Earth as they can,as Rivendell is next on there journey would it be okay if they stopped here for some time?"

"The party of Elves from Mirkwood is welcome to stop here for as long as they wish to" I tell the blond elf
"Thank you Lord Elrond, the party is expected to arrive within the next few days" Legolas said before leaving the room
"A party of young elves on a tour of Middle Earth before they take up there Responsibility's, that is something I've never heard of before" Lindir commented.

This had me thinking with these young elves heading here,I just had to hope that Y/n doesn't take a interest in any of them. I don't know what I do if she fell in love with someone else,not that Y/n would ever love a old elf like me.
