Chapter 4: Mistake

...
'The thing I said that Saturday, I take it back' she gritted her teeth..

'Ren is the same as Thyme and all the other f4 members'

She's currently in the cafeteria and just as she was about to eat inside she could hear fighting..

Thyme was mistreating a student..and F4 isn't doing anything about it..

'What the hell? Why isn't there anyone stopping them?' Her face was miserable seeing the student..

Leah just knew about the 'Red Card' rule made by F4 or Thyme..

"Isn't he a little to cruel?" Thyme was spitting out hurtful words to the boy and everybody around us just watched..including Ren..

He had a cold look in his eyes and bore an  emotionless face. So different from the 'him' yesterday..

Leah couldn't take it anymore and went out of the crowd to help the boy..

"Let go of him Thyme!" She shielded the boy and nodded at him to run away..

Thyme looked furious at what she did "what the hell? Wait, it's you again!"

Leah had a tough look on her face wich made Ren amused.."So? It looks like Mr. Paraamantra is having an anger frenzy"

When Leah said that it definitely ticked Thyme off..all the students that were present had their mouths dropped..

Other than Gorya no one else was able to stand up to him..and also just her luck Gorya wasn't there with her..

"That time, I let you go because Gorya was there. But I didn't think you would be so brave to come back like this"

She glared at him "so what?" She looked at him up and down and realized his sick taste in clothing..

'Tiger print with those shoes?' She grimaced..'even my dog can dress up better than this'

Her silence pissed Thyme off even more..he went closer to her and pointed at her forehead while harshly poking it..

Everybody was whispering to themselves like..

She won't make it..

Thyme will kill her!

Serves her right..

As Ren watched the scene unfold something inside of him was mad, angry..

"Your really pissing me off" She glared at him and slapped his hand away..

Leah coldly stared at him and said "shut up.." Before she walked away leaving all of them dumbstruck..

"Shit!" Kavin and MJ said in unison while holding the sides of their head..

Ren didn't know why but he felt somewhat proud..

"Did you see her? Did you see what she did?" Thyme complained to his friends when they got back to his house..

"What? Oh you mean that girl? Yeah, pretty brave of her to do that. Other than Gorya, no one else would dare stand up to you.." MJ said as he drunk a bottle of whiskey..

"Yeah, I was amazed at what she did" Kavin chimed..

Ren was just sketching something, more or so it was leah. He drew her fierce expression she had when facing Thyme ..

"Hah! She's just a coward, she could've fought me then and there but chose to walk out" Thyme said not accepting that someone besides Gorya was standing up to him..

"Hmm, so what are you going to do now?" When kavin asked that MJ and Ren perked up..

"I wanted to go easy on her because she's Gorya's friend, but since she's so heroic and saved that man..

Why not let her suffer his punishment?" At that the three members present knew what he meant and began to feel uneasy mostly a certain Aira..

They rejected the idea and said..

"Hey Thyme, why not do something else? If Gorya finds out you'll be dead!" Kavin said..

At that Thyme froze, but he didn't change his decision.."it's final"..

Thyme was determined to make Leah's life a living hell for even angering him..

"Don't worry it'll just be for 2 days. Since she only made me furious for 2 times" Thyme said smugly as if it was still okay..

Kavin and MJ scoffed while Ren was still writing.. he couldn't concentrate and kept silent making the others worried..

"Oi Ren! You've been awfully quiet there" Thyme said as he went closer..

Ren was in a daze and didn't realize Thyme called him, when he snapped back his sketch was all in scribbles and was ruined..

'Something is clearly bothering him' all three thought..

"I'm going" He stood up and walked away from the group to go back to his apartment..

"That. Was weird" Thyme commented..

"Yeah I know right? Ren never acts like this" kavin followed Thyme's words..

"Maybe he's just stressed? About Mira and all" MJ continued..

They all agreed it must be something related to that..

They were half-wrong and half-right. Ren was thinking about a girl, but it wasn't Mira..

When Ren got back to his apartment he instantly drank water..after what happened earlier his throat began to dry..

He didn't know what he was feeling..

Was he worried? Mad? He couldn't pinpoint his emotion..the only thing that was clear in his mind was that tommorow wasn't going to be Leah's greatest day..

"What am I feeling?" He looked at his phone when it buzzed. His wallpaper showed up..

It was Mira..

He quickly shook his head and forced his mind to forget about it..he looked over at the text message it was..

Leah..

He felt warmth enveloped him, he opened the message..

Leah: I'm sorry I wasn't able to get my sketchbook, I'll take it tommorow..

He just replied with a simple 'okay'..it was only a brief text but it made him happy..

It suddenly began to rain profusely, but no matter how cold the weather was. It still couldn't stop the warmth he was feeling deep down..

'Tommorow' He thought..

"I'll meet her again" even for a second he forgot about the worry and anguish he was feeling..

'I can't wait for tommorow' He thought..

Ren looked over towards his bag and took out her sketchbook..he didn't want to pry but was curious on what she would usually draw..

He opened it and went from page to page. It would most likely have flowers or sceneries but what caught his eye the most was the sketch at the back of the book..

It was..

'Me' the portrait of the man she met at the airport..
