My husband and me, took an unforgettable vacation
But now there's immense trepidation...
A time travel point gone wrong
We've lost each other in a fog.

The chime tells me, he's with the Pharaoh
Crossing the Red sea
And I'm here stuck in the French revolution
Awaiting the victory.

My life's in a jeopardy
How am I supposed to return to hubby?
I think turning the dials would help
Else we are stuck in eras different.

Elvis Presley must be tapping his heels
Waiting for us to oversee
His next concert's at the Queen Elisabeth's wedding anniversary
Our situation is betwixt a duality.

And there were The Beatles to follow through
Damn... why did my husband have to leave me in queue?
What on earth am I going to say
To the Queen, when she enquires about our stay?

A turn of the seconds and a minute
A notch up the hourly digit
The watch whirrs along
All I do is fidget and frown...

Lo and behold! My husband stands in front of me
Seemingly saved from drowning at the sea
I jump in ecstasy
And whizz with him to the 1960's.

New York, here we come
With Elvis Presley in tow
Mastering our invention
Does anyone need to know
