Used to saving everything
Grief's shared so much less
Used to so much caution
Pain just finds a confess.
Used to imminent loss
Feels like life's gone for a toss
Used to being betrayed
Doesn't matter whatever was portrayed.
Dipped in the ink of tears
Words stand at the threshold of fears
Wondering what went wrong
Life took a dance around the storm.
Silence isn't without cause
Pain paints our words into a pause
Stifling the emotions in their nest
Being true is a lifelong quest.
Scorched turns of the overlying arches
Help in taking ourselves above notches
Rising through the turbid times
Hard work always always shines.
