Waking up in someone else's bed may just be the new normal for Brad.

Sitting up on the bed unlocked a whiplash that is every detail Brad could remember about last night's events. After quite the drinking session, he found himself leaving the club with a girl, who was as drunk as him, so they could have sex in her place. Upon realising that he has a reputation to uphold, he searches for his name online and scrolls through news articles, relieved upon confirming that none of them were about him being drunk last night. Although, there was a new article about his love life, which he did not bother reading since he knows it is non-existent.

That is, if he fails to ask his one night stand out on a date.

A knock on the door breaks Brad out of his trance, then it opens to reveal the girl he had a great night with.

"Perhaps you would like some breakfast before you leave? It's the best I can offer since I found out that I've run out of painkillers," Marjorie, which is the name he can recover from his intoxicated memories, says. It did not help that he is being distracted by the lacy underwear that he removed last night, along with her poorly buttoned see-through shirt.

"That would be nice, thank you," Brad says, then Marjorie smiles.

"Will pancakes and ham with orange juice suffice? That's all I have left in my fridge."

"Yeah, it's no problem," Brad says, and when he steps out of the bed, he realises that he is full-on naked. Marjorie laughs before leaving the room, then Brad puts his clothes on. Right when he is in the middle of putting his jeans on, his phone starts ringing, then he answers it immediately.

"Hello?"

"Bradley, drop by the office ASAP. We have an important matter to discuss," his manager, Mac, says down the phone, then Brad nods.

"Alright. I'll be there soon," Brad says before abruptly ending the call, letting out a big sigh afterwards. Him getting a call from Mac at that early in the morning gives him nothing but dread, especially since he does not know why he was summoned all of a sudden.

Brad gathers his things and walks out of the room, only to be met with the hypnotising smell of food while it's cooking.

"That smells great," Brad compliments Marjorie, who giggles at his remark. He sits himself on her island, pouring some orange juice for himself and for her after she asked him to do so. He hides his attempts at remembering all the conversations they had last night by pretending to scroll through his phone.

Brad can recall that she is taking up her masters in UCL, that she is the youngest among five siblings and that she is organising a fundraising event for cancer research on the side. Aside from having luscious blonde hair and gorgeous green eyes, her personality stands out the most, making her a very attractive woman. It also helps that she knows her wine well and that she knows how to cook.
