Currently, the whereabouts of the Kobayashi residence would be at the sidewalk where they would be on a stroll to the grocery market to get ingredients for dinner because Tohru had destroyed all of them.
Kobayashi: Good grief. Why did you completely burn our ingredients, Tohru?
Tohru: Well, my apologies.
Ryder: Just have more faith in the gas stove. It's not that hard.
Tohru: I thought the heat wasn't strong enough.
Ryder: Then use a flame, not a flamethrower... Maybe your brain was the thing that wasn't strong enough.
Kobayashi: That reminds me, this is our first time shopping with Tohru, isn't it?
Ryder: Nah, I went with her a couple times to greet some of my friends.
Kobayashi: The pedophile or the nerd?
Ryder: Both.
Kobayashi: Maybe don't really bring her around your friends. They're a bit extreme.
Tohru: It's okay, Miss Kobayashi. They were as worse as Ryder so I was fine with them... I think.
As they continued to walk, Ryder and Tohru stopped walking at the shopping district as Kobayashi walked forward, which confused both Ryder and Tohru
Ryder: Where are you going?
Kobayashi: Huh?
Tohru: This is the shopping district.
Kobayashi: I thought me and Ryder agreed to only take you to the department store over there? Right, Ryder?
Ryder: She's your maid, so your problem.
Kobayashi: Damn it...
Tohru: Anyways, that place reminds me of a castle and it makes me uncomfortable.
Kobayashi: A castle?
Tohru: The white color reminds me of the crusader's bases.
Ryder: I guess we're afraid of the opposite colors I guess.
Kobayashi: What about the shopping district?
Tohru: It's like a guild's bazaars. It's a little better.
Kobayashi: So your standards are basically on your past experiences, huh?
Ryder and Tohru: Obviously.
The three of them head into the shopping district and stop at a shop called "Toda Fresh Seafood". The shop would have many variety and species of fish all for sale. The shop owner would then recognize both Ryder and Tohru
Toda: Oh hey, Tohru. And I guess Ryder.
Ryder: What do you mean "I guess"?!
Tohru: Good afternoon, Mr. Toda.
This interaction with Toda, Ryder, and Tohru would shock Kobayashi. Kobayashi turns to Ryder as he has an annoyed look on his face at the obvious favoritism from Toda
Toda: It's not often I see you with anyone other than your guy friend. So is that your friend too?
Tohru: No, she's my Master.
Toda: Eh--?
Kobayashi: Hello.
Toda: Tohru's funny, isn't she? We've got some good mackerel in today. How about it?
