Ryder Ligero, is a chef for a local restaurant in Japan, he recently moved in with a family friend named Kobayashi into some cheap apartment. One day, Kobayashi came home extremely late, the morning right after that would change their life's in a go...
It would be a nice Wednesday afternoon. The sky would be a nice shade of orange, the birds would be chirping, and Ryder would be working his shift at the restaurant. Ryder would be at the front counter working his shift while Casey works in the back, making the orders. As Ryder would be leaning on the counter, he'd see Elma walk in. She'd be happy to see Ryder because due to her job, she'd never have time to come over while Ryder's working. As soon as he seen Elma, he'd smile kindly at her. Elma would hurry towards the counter to talk to Ryder.
Ryder: Hey, Elma. What are you doing out of work this early?
Elma would smirk as she puts her hands on her hips, knowing Ryder would ask that exact question

Elma: I've been able to get out early due to the work I've been doing!
Ryder just stands there, looking confused
Ryder: You don't normally get out for work for doing what you're supposed to...
Elma: What do you mean? Normally you get rewarded for doing good deeds!
Ryder: Well, here is different. Anyways, I got to go grab something in the back. I'll be right back.
Elma would look down a bit saddened but would agree
Elma: Alright. I can wait.
Ryder would then walk towards the back, and step inside the storage closet. As Elma would wait there, she'd see Casey walking to the counter from the back. As soon as he noticed Elma, he'd look annoyed, knowing he'd have to take a large order
Casey: What do you want now?
Elma: I'm just here for Ryder!
Casey: Well, he's really busy right now. It's his work rush, so he has to work for longer hours and step up his game.
Elma: What do you mean?
Casey: Ryder is kind of like this big chef in this town. He's known by most restaurants and buildings, so he gets hired on trips to make food for them. He's kind of like the pillar for them, he's pretty important.
Elma's eyes would squint her eyes in an upset manner, of hearing the words "Ryder" and "Pillar" in the same sentence.
