It is almost new years, and currently at the Oborozuka shopping district, they were having many different sales going on. And Kobayashi, Tohru, Kanna, and Ryder decided to go and they noticed there were a lot more people than usual
Tohru: This place is full of people today.
Ryder: No shit, stupid...
As they continued to walk, Kanna had noticed a stand that caught her eyes.
Kanna: What is that?
Ryder: It's a lottery.
Kanna: I want to try.
Kobayashi: Hmm, I think we'd need tickets.
Tohru: I have some.
The three look at Tohru as she holds three lottery tickets in her hands
Ryder: Of course you do...
Tohru: Sorry that they're not green cards, Ryder
Ryder: I swear-
Tohru: I received them during my daily shopping here at the shopping district.
Ryder: So you didn't get them from pity?
The four of them walk over to the lottery stand and Tohru gives all her tickets to the man, and was able to get three turns. Tohru then looks at the prize board as the grand prize catches her attention.
Tohru: The grand prize is a hot springs vacation, huh? Hot springs would be nice.
Tohru then whispers in Ryder's ear
Tohru: Use some of those psychic powers of yours to land on the grand prize and I won't bother you for a month
Ryder: Bet-
Kobayashi: Don't...
Ryder: fine...
Tohru and Kanna both grab the handle of the lottery wheel and then start to spin it as a white marble comes out of the wheel
Man: Here's the prize, pocket tissues.
Tohru and Kanna spin the wheel once more to get another white marble and some pocket tissues. Tohru and Kanna grab the handle once more and spins it again.
Tohru: Last one, I'll win!
Suddenly, out of the wheel comes out a gold marble which meant that they won one of the prizes. The man rings the bell to congratulate them.
Man: Congratulations
Tohru: I did it!
Man: Third prize! You'll be set for the cold winter this year. You've won a warm kotatsu!
Kobayashi, Kanna, and Ryder were surprised with the win Tohru had gotten, while Tohru looked a bit disappointed because she wasn't able to win the hot springs vacation.
Tohru: Kotatsu?

A couple days have passed and currently Kobayashi is on a train heading home from her last day of work. She was looking at her phone until she over hears two girls saying good bye.
Girl 1: The train's leaving now.
Girl 2: Oh yeah.
Girl 1: Happy new years!
