A/N: Hey guys this chapter is short, and so is the next one, sorry! It worked out like this because I really only needed the length of one chapter for this part, but I wanted some more it to be from Henry's POV and some from Alex's. So think of this chap as "Part 1" and you'll get "part 2" next week. Thanks for understanding!!

An angel. That's what he is. A stroke of white brilliance- white tux, light skin, blond hair. The only color the deep blue of his eyes. God he's fucking perfect. Alex can't help but cry tears of joy as Henry makes his way up the aisle.

Catherine kisses her son on the cheek before Henry makes his way up the few stairs. Alex reaches out a hand, and when they finally connect, his heart starts again. Across from him now, Henry holds both of Alex's hands.

June and Nora stand behind Alex, Bea behind Henry. Little Mari has run off to join her parents in the front row. Pez is beside them, his silver suit is about the plainest thing Alex has ever seen him in.

"Ladies, Gentlemen, and everyone in-between..." Pez starts with a mischievous glint in his eyes. "We are gathered here today for what surely should become a federal holiday in two countries," the crowd laughs, "...the marriage between two Princes to end a war and unite our lands! Oh there's no war between the UK and US you say? Not for the last 200 years? The next thing you'll be saying is that these two men aren't princes!"

Now that Alex was standing here, in front of all 1200 people, he couldn't believe he and Henry had approved Pez's crazy script.

"Despite their lack of titles," Pez continues, "they are both a royal pain in my... heart," he draws it out before placing both hands over his chest. The crowd giggles once again. "Because I have watched these two people fight so hard for their love. A love that has always been so true, despite the people who have said it isn't right or that it shouldn't be. They have found each other, and held on tight. They both deserve all the happiness they have found. The couple has written their own vows."

Alex would swear that Henry was actually glowing as he reached into his pocket to pull out a carefully-folded note. He looked out at it as he read aloud, "Alex, dear. You once told me that nothing would ever happen to me, if I stayed behind my castle walls and let fear keep me from you. But truly, from the moment you entered my life, you shifted the ground beneath my feet, and the walls I had so carefully constructed, came tumbling down as if they were built of sand. I told you once that I thought I could have some piece of you, and that would be enough, but in actuality, once I had a taste of you, there was no turning back, there was no life without you. The castle I had hidden my whole life away in was destroyed, and in its place, together, we built something beautiful. But I would live the rest of my life in a shack if I got to live it with you. You are worth a million castles, every gem in the royal treasury, every painful day I had to live hiding who I was. You are my fire Prometheus brought down from the heavens and without you I would have frozen to death. Now my life will forever be lit by your light, your warmth. And for that, I am so grateful."

It was more beautiful than Alex could've even imagined. He tried to keep more tears from falling, otherwise he wouldn't be able to get through his own vows.

Alex pulled out his own piece of very worn paper. "Henry, I do not have your gift for words. I wish I could describe all the moments I fell in love with you in a way that actually sounds as magically as they were: our first kiss on the white house lawn, swimming in the lake in the moonlight, listening you sing karaoke, watching you make a sick little girl smile, or falling into a cake," He paused for the audience to laugh, "Ok, maybe that one wasn't so magical." Another laugh. "I wish I could paint an picture with the language the way you do. English is something we both know, but you know it differently than I do, more intimately, and are skilled in bending it to your whim. And since I can't do that, I will use that one thing I am better at than you: Spanish." This earned an even bigger laugh from the crowd. "Hopefully your lessons have been enough to cover this– Te amo, y te amaré por siempre."

Henry's blue eyes - he would get to look at those blue eyes until the day he died and it still wouldn't be enough - finally let a tear fall.

The rest of Pez's words faded into the background as Alex stared at his beautiful groom, until it was time for him to speak again. "Do you, Alex Gabreal Claremont-Diaz, take thee Henry Gorge Edward James Fox-Mountchristen-Windsor, to have and to hold from this day forward, for better, for worse, for richer, for poorer, in sickness and in health, to love and to cherish, till death do you part?"

Alex couldn't stop smiling, "I do."

"And do you, Henry Gorge Edward James Fox-Mountchristen-Windsor, take thee Alex Gabreal Claremont-Diaz, to have and to hold from this day forward, for better, for worse, for richer, for poorer, in sickness and in health, to love and to cherish, till death do us part?"

Alex suddenly noticed Henry was breathing fast, a bead of sweat forming at his brow. Alex squeezed his hands and Henry finally says, "I do."

"I now pronounce you husbands; you may kiss!"

And Alex pulled him close and kissed Henry deeply.

A/N: If, like me, you do not know Spanish, Alex says "I love you, and I will love you forever." I hope that the translation is correct; I just used google translate. If you speak Spanish and its not, please let me know the right way and I'll fix it!
