FP3: The sound of the cars racing was what made Thalie smile. She was standing in the Ferrari garage, the bright red headphones rest on her head.

Despite her best friend not giving her any attention except before he got in the car, she did not put it against him. She had experienced this before, she knew that Charles just wanted to do good.

She was watching the monitors, she had little idea on some of the stats meant but the mechanics were kind enough to explain some to her. Thalie was watching the race when Charles' was shown.

A bright smile appearing on her face as she watched the overtake between her best friend and Pierre and Charles did it cleanly and safely. She couldn't help but clap with the team.

As their mini celebration was happening, Thalie felt like someone was watching her. And she was right. She turned to the other monitor where SkySports telecast and realized she was being shown.

Her eyes widened a bit and looked to her right where the camera was pointed at her. She let out a chuckle and waved before looking back at the monitor that showed Charles' on board.

Thalie continued to watch the race, clapping and cheering for her best friend like it was the first time. It was like the first time he raced in F1, the same excitement and energy.

She was then brought back to time where he did his first race. When he got out of the car and she was the first one he went to. And the warmth and tightness of his hug made her heart race. A different kind of way than the first time. A different kind of way than she remembered. And she didn't know if that scared her or not.

As the race ended, Thalie smiled when Charles approached her. "Hi Thals." He greeted happily.

Charles was happy despite not getting podium, he was happy still knowing fully well that Thalie will be there waiting for him.

He immediately wrapped his arms around him making her do the same. "You did amazing Cha!" she said happily and jumped in placed making Charles sigh happily.

Thalie was like that when she was excited. She tends to jump in place when she was extremely happy and it warmed Charles' heart when he realized it was because of him that she was this happy.

He pulled away a bit and sent her a look. Her big smile infecting his, his growing the same way. "You're so happy Thals." He said. She giggled and that made his heart happy, but she still did not stop jumping in excitement.

So, Charles did something that would usually help. He placed his palms on her cheeks which ultimately made her stop. She stared at him, still with the smile.

"Cha..." she said softly which made his breath. They stood there, not moving. But it was Thalie who broke the trance. She hummed and moved back a bit, this made Charles to lower his hands.

"I think Silvia is looking for you." She said motioning behind Charles. He turned and the woman was smiling politely at her. He sighed but nodded at her before turning back to his best friend.

"I'll be back."

"And I'll be right here." And his heart warmed up again, because he knew that like always, she will be there.
