Thalie walked out her apartment building, placing her keys back in her bag when she noticed her best friend there.
Charles was waiting for his best friend, leaning on his car and when she finally got out of the door, he took note of how she looked. She didn't dress up (given the best friends decided on keeping it casual), but she still looked breathtaking.
Nathalie Clement did not need a sparkly gown and make up to look gorgeous, just the mere presence of her can make anyone stop and stare. And that was what he was experiencing.
When Thalie's eyes caught Charles', she smiled and walked to him. "Charlie." She said and he smiled back at her. "Thalie." He said before pushing himself off the car and handing her a bouquet of her favorite flowers; lilies.
