Race Day: One thing Sylvia hates about her job is keeping the drivers from using their phones. Unfortunately for her, it was a special day for Thalie meaning Charles' phone will be glued to his hand.
And that was what was happening. It was a few hours before race day and Charles Leclerc was preoccupied with his phone. Carlos had been teasing him saying that Thalie's content for the launch wouldn't go anywhere but the Monegasque would argue with the sentence, "It's different when I see it live."
So, there Charles was, sitting in one of the chairs of their garage, his eyes focused on the livestream that was happening all the way back to Monaco. He awaited patiently for his best friend to be shown on the screen.
He knew that his time was ending before he had to go and focus on the race. He just wanted to see a glimpse of his best friend. And fortunately for him, he didn't have to wait that long.
"Sans plus tarder, acclamons et applaudissons tous notre nouvelle ambassadrice, Nathalie Clément!" (
Translation: "Without further ado, let us all cheer and applaud our new ambassador, Nathalie Clément!")
The moment Thalie appeared on screen, her lilac dress hugging her in the right places made Charles' heart stop. She smiled and waved at the audience that was cheering for her. It wasn't the first time he watched her like this but this time, it was different.
