FP3 and Quali: Thalie was getting her make up done for a shoot. But her attention was towards her phone that was propped up in front of her. Her eyes glued at the race that was happening.
Free practice 3 had finished and qualifying was up. Needless to say, Thalie was excited. She had a little leeway of time to watch it and she was not letting it pass by.
After passing out after the celebration, Thalie had woken up with a note from Tavi saying that she had to get home and bring her phone so she had called Charles the next morning. Needless to say, she had asked her best friend what she blabbed about the night before. But Charles didn't budge.
He said that it was between him and drunk Thalie. That did not give her comfort knowing fully well she must have embarrassed herself bad. But that didn't mean she wouldn't be supporting her best friend.
The driver had ended a great free practice, she was hoping for a better Quali for him.
As her make up artist was fixing her make up, Charles was just reaching turn 13 of the Hungoring. She was watching intently but then she was asked to close her eyes for a second and she did.
Although when she did, she heard Ted Kravitz say something that made her heart stop. "And there goes Charles Leclerc spinning of the track in turn 13."
She pushed the hands that were fixing her face away and opened her eyes. Her heart hammering in her chest as she placed her focus on the screen again. There she saw the aerial shot of Charles' car, the number 16 on the nose.
Her chest going up and down in worry. "Luckily the driver was quick enough to react and did not make contact with the barrier."
Thalie did not take her eyes away from the screen, the telecast showing the reply. "Thalie-" "Give me a second." She said as she jumped off the make up chair and grabbed her phone.
Exiting the telecast, she was quick to dial Andrea Ferrari. The man already expecting a call from the girl was quick to answer.
"Il va bien Nathalie." Andrea quickly said, not wanting the girl to worry any more. The model let out a sigh, "Andrea, l'hai appena detto o l'hai detto solo per non farmi impazzire ?" she argued. (Translation: "It's fine Nathalie." "Andrea, did you just say or just say it to keep me from freaking out?")
