Tobi and I have been looking forward to our beach date all week.
We arrive at the coast in the late afternoon, just as the sun was beginning to set.
The sky was painted with hues of orange and pink, and the air was filled with the sweet scent of saltwater and coconut sunscreen.
As we walk along the shore, I couldn't help but notice how handsome Tobi looks in his shorts with his tanned body.
His eyes sparkle in the fading light.
I feel a flutter in my chest as he takes my hand, leading me to a secluded spot near the water's edge.
We spend the next hour watching the sunset, sharing stories and laughter as the sky turns pink and purple.
Tobi tells me about his childhood adventures at the beach, and I share my favorite memories of building sandcastles with my family.
"You look beautiful in this lighting." Tobi says tucking a piece of hair behind my ear.
"So do you." I say smiling as his smile widen.
As the stars begin to twinkle in the sky, Tobi pulls me close and we share a sweet kiss under the sunset.
Tobi stands up and holds his hand out for me.
"We just got here!" I say chuckling as I grab his hands.
He intertwines our hands as we walk along the beach, enjoying the peaceful atmosphere and the sound of the waves crashing against the shore.
We stumble upon a group of beach bonfires, and Tobi suggests we join in.
We sit down on a blanket, roasting marshmallows and sharing stories with the other beachgoers.
As the night wears on, Tobi and I find each other lost in each other's eyes, the stars shining brightly above them.
We share another kiss, this time under the starry sky and I feel my heart skip a beat.
"You've kissed me so many times today, what's going on?" I ask chuckling as I pull away.
"Maybe I just love kissing you." He says smiling as he places his lips on mine.
I smile into the kiss as he pulls me closer.
"Likewise." I say as he chuckles.
As we walk back to our car, hand in hand, I turn to Tobi and smile.
"This has been the perfect date." I say, my voice barely above a whisper.
Tobi smiles back, his eyes sparkling with happiness.
"I couldn't agree more." He says pulling me close for one last kiss under the stars.
"Kisses, ah, I love this day." I say as Tobi laughs. _________________________________________________
