It was a starless night,

I saw the black smoke rise.

It started to take human form,

as I covered my eyes.

It was an endless road,

I could listen to the croack of the toads.

The shape took a familiar face,

it looked like my own.

It mirrored my face,

It echoed my voice,

the only difference was

The bloodstained gown,

the red had turned brown.

She looked up at me,

with her bloodshot eyes.

She opened her palms,

and pointed at the dice.

She said,

I will roll it once,

I will roll it twice,

if you get two sixes,

I will let you live,

any other number,

and your life is mine to keep.

She rolled the dice once,

And it was a six.

she smiled a little and
said

It was my lucky streak.

She rolled the dice twice,

before it stopped rolling,

I opened my eyes.

I noticed a little dice,

lying on my bedside.
