During the second and third day of class, Eve wasn't around because of her visa again. We only needed to come on Mondays, Wednesday, and Fridays and the first week is a 'no-attendance recorded' week so it worked to her advantage. It was a boring week for me though.
"Master, let's go out tomorrow," whispered Jonny.
"Why?"
"Because you're free tomorrow."
"I mean, why do I have to spend the weekend babysitting you and San?"
"And Hina too."
"And you just added another one to babysit."
"We'll invite Eve too, Captain."
"And yet anoth- wait what?"
"HA! you fell to our trap!" they half-shouted in unison.
"Sssshhhh! Riley's gonna kill us," I whispered angrily. I let my guard down that time.
"So you really do like her, huh Master?"
"Shut up."
"Do you want us to help you with this, Captain?"
"No, thank you."
"Let's do it Kyle-sensei."
"Wait, you're in on this too Hina?"
"Yes Sensei."
"Why are you guys doing this to me?"
"We figured it's our turn to help you with your problem, Master."
"Look, this isn't even a problem."
"It is for us."
"Why?"
"Because if you continue to be grumpy, our project won't be any good."
Unbelievable. They wanted to to do this because of selfish reasons again. But wanting their help wouldn't hurt, would it?
"Do what you want."
"Yes! We have the blessing to continue with our plan! We will be called the cupid trio from now on!"
What a terrible naming sense.
"I Jonny will be cupid one, San is cupid two and Hina will be cupid three. Any objections cupids?"
"None sir!" half shouted San and Hina.
"Good. Now let's think of a place to go tomorrow."
"Huahin," said San.
"Rejected."
"Pattaya," suggested Hina.
"Rejected."
"Do you even know how to contact Eve?" I asked.
"Of course."
"How?"
"Don't you have her number, Master?"
"If I had, I wouldn't be asking, would I?"
"Hmm, do you know where she lives?"
"Nope. I admit, I like her, but I'm not a stalker."
San and Hina squealed after I said that.
"We really have to make this a success, Captain."
"We'll find a way to get her number today Kyle-sensei."
"Well, if you say so."
San and Hina didn't go to class that afternoon. They just left after lunch saying they had to go somewhere. I didn't know what they did, but the next day, Eve came with us. All I could think of was, 'how?'.
