I often wonder
What you usually ponder
Do you even miss

Nothing is right

With the words we utter
Playing games
Shit's the same
I tried my best
To fix my mess
Saying "I'm sorry"
Never enough of an apology
Forced myself to remember
Why we liked each other
Everything got blurry
Got a crazy love story
I used to believe
That you'll never leave
You made me feel
Your love is real
You wrote me letters
Made my chest flutter
Never thought that feeling
Is only fleeting
You gave up
Never had the gut
To be the man
Unique from everyone
The story of us
Turned into dust
Burned into ashes
Now in small pieces
Your name
Will forever stain
