I'm not quite sure how to start this or why I even try
I just know this is going to be about you and I
You came into my life like a hurricane
And I only could handle a little bit of rain
If only you could tell me why you've chosen me
This wouldn't have gone just as badly
You embraced my flaws as they came across
It was overwhelming - this outlandish feeling
It was the middle of October
When you first came over
I remembered my mouth
Spitting frivolous sounds
What a mess I can be
When you're in front of me
My heart starts beating
Like a thunder lightning
Yet there you were
With your great composure
You never fail to keep
Such admirable streak
Yet one day your taupe eyes
Started losing their glowing light
Your once fit physique
Started losing its grip
I was nowhere near knowing anything
Yet I knew there was definitely something
Wrong was how everything was
But I chose to keep it just how it was
For one silent night
Out my loudest cry
For you my beloved is gone
A memory your soul has become.
