A pen and an empty page

Faded with age

A poet they say I am

'Broken' was what I truly am

There was beauty in every word

In another dimension I was lured

Wrote my pain in blank ink

Though juvenescence was stained pink

Shattered glass, broken hearts

Piece by piece I let it all out

Through the cracks I see light

Little by little becoming so bright

A speck of silver among gold dust

Through age I will rust

But my legacy remains

As my words will eternally reign.
