Just a headcanon of mine. If Marinette is Ladybug, she have power of creations. If Adrien is Chat Noir, he have power of destruction.

Now to me, power of destruction does made people realize what's right and what's wrong. They can made people open their eyes. But for power of creations, I believe that it causes corruption. I mean if you have the power of creations into your hands, you can't help it but want to use it for yourself. This is not right, you all people knew that but you do it anyway. So, I made Marinette suffers from corruption and evilness. After all, power does causes evilness and corruption.

So, when you create something dangerous, you use it to causes destruction upon people. When you destroy something dangerous, you save people from destruction upon them. That's what I believed in. That's why I think that Marinette would be slowly corrupted by her power. some of you are familiar with this:

Yeah, Marinette do have two sides; Goodness and Evilness. They fought inside her for many days. Fought for domestic. Marinette was tired of this fightings.
