Chapter 12

It's been a month since I proposed to Grace it was the happiest day of our lives but today was a very special day for us."Alright Ms.Delaney the process is finished everything's in excellent shape the symptoms will appear in a couple of weeks."We nodded the doctor smiled congratulation us once again before leaving the room."Can you believe it Shelbie...it's finally happening...we can finally start our family...I'm so happy."I nodded wrapping my arms around her waist pulling her close to me."I'm happy too baby girl."Grace smiled wrapping her arms around my neck pulling me into a quick kiss."Let me get dressed real quick then we can go meet up with the others for our kimono fitting okay?"I nodded kissing her once more before leaving the room but was stopped when I felt a soft grasp on my wrist turning around I saw that Grace was standing in her bra and panties a light blush appeared on her cheeks."Please stay.."I nodded watching her get dressed only one thought came to my mind and that was.(How did I ever get so lucky?)I couldn't help but smile."Looks like your in deep thought honey."I looked up to see Grace standing in front of me smiling softly."Nah...I was just thinking how really lucky I am to be with you."A small blush appeared over her cheeks as she gently took my hand in hers kissing my knuckles."I'm lucky to be with you too now now let's get going before were late."I nodded as the two of us left heading off to meet up with the rest of the team.

A few minutes later we pulled up to a five story house which belonged to my dad's friend who was originally from Japan but came to America to start a business with his wife and his son."It was very nice of your dad's friend to help us with the wedding kimonos."I nodded smiling."They always thought of us as family so it's an honor to have them helping with the wedding after all it's worth it."Grace leaned over taking my face in her hands slowly kissing me after pulling back we looked at each other before getting out of the car taking her hand in mine the two of us made our way towards the front door."I wonder if the rest of the team got their kimonos fitted?"I shrugged knocking on the door waiting for a few minutes before someone answered the door. "Ah hello there Shelbie it's so nice to see you again!"I nodded smiling as he pulled me into a hug ."And you must be Shelbie's lovely fiancee Grace it's very nice to meet you Shelbie here wouldn't stop talking about you at all saying how much she wants to be with you and never wants to leave you and also saying how cute you would look in a Kimono."Grace looked over at me with a light blush covered her cheeks and a smirk across her lips."Oh really?"I looked away blushing a deep red."Y-Yeah...I did...."Scratching the back of my head before Grace could respond Jake pulled us into the house closing the door behind him."The boys are on the first floor and the girls are on the second floor my wife will take Grace upstairs."

I nodded watching Jake's wife Alice come downstairs when she saw me a huge smile appeared over her lips as she ran over to me pulling me into a hug."Shelbie it's so good to see you again it's been so long!"I nodded smiling as Alice pulled away she turned towards Grace smiling."And you must be Grace it's so nice to meet a new member of the family Shelbie keeps talking about you about how amazing beautiful you are and can't stop thinking about you all the time spending the rest of her life with you."By this time my face was completely red Grace looked over at me smiling before wrapping her arms around my neck pulling me closer to her feeling her warm breath against my lips."G-Grace...what are you doing..."A small blush appeared over my cheeks as she was only inches away from my lips before I could kiss her she pulled back giggling at my expression."You're so cute when your like that."A dark blush appeared over my cheeks as I looked away from her puffing out my cheeks."That was a dirty trick baby girl."She kept on giggling."I'm sorry honey but your just to cute."Rolling my eyes Jake led me into the living room and Alice led Grace upstairs."Alright your father tells me that your interested in a red and black kimono is that correct?"I nodded watching him go into the closet a few seconds later he came back out with a red and black Samurai Kimono."I figured you would want a Samurai Kimono instead turning it around I saw a dragon on the back."It's perfect I love it."

Jake smiled helping me try it on."It fits perfectly you look like your father when he got married to your mother it was a beautiful moment."I couldn't help but smile remembering that both of my parents were still madly in love with each other since the day they got married and had us. "That reminds me your parents wanted me to give you something very special for your wedding from all of us to you we wish you all the happiness in the entire world."I watched as Jake pulled out a Katana it was just like the one my dad had when he was my age."I felt my throat go dry as I reached over taking the Katana in my hands."Thank you so much this means a lot to me...Oh by the way I wanted to ask you something did you see where my friends went?"Jake looked at me for a few seconds before nodding slightly laughing."I know who your talking about their all upstairs with my son getting their Kimonos fitted."I nodded smiling as we got lost talking about going back to Japan to see his old friends."You know what we outta do?"I looked at him with a raised eyebrow."Try to push each other off the ladder like old times sake how about it?"It took a few minutes before nodding."Alright I won't fall this time let's go!"He nodded smiling he rushed outside to quickly set up the ladder.(This is gonna be a hell of a fight....I can't wait!)
