Anya's P.O.V.

"Yah right...wait what did you say? That saying you love me would have been the truth?" I asked.
Zayd loves me?

Zayd loves me?
This must be a nightmare.

So I asked again to confirm," you said that you love me?"

"What? No! Why would i say that? I..i never said that, you are just hearing things," Zayd replied.

"Hearing things? Oh hello mister, i know that I heard it properly, ok?"I answered back.

"Are you the one who said it or me?" He asked.

"You." I answered.

"Then?"

"Then what?"

"Then who will know better what i said... you or me?"

"Listen asshole..." Before I could finish my sentence, every villager came and started hugging us congratulating in their language I guess.
And soon that argument was left unargued.

They then took us to eat, finally after so long we will get to eat.
Just hoping that they don't start serving us lizards and cockroaches.

Zayd's P.O.V.

Damn you Zayd! What were thinking when you said all those stuff??

The good thing is I changed the subject.
But she is stubborn and she will keep on digging until she knows the truth.

They took us to eat dinner.
The place looked neat and clean so I wouldn't mind eating whatever they serve.
All this time I avoided eye contact with Anya.

We sat on the floor, there were woven mats laid down.
The food was served, first came the coconut rice, which I disliked immediately cause I don't like anything made of coconut even if it's chocolate.

Then came the stew, i was eager to know what the stew was made of.
So I rubbed both my palms and got ready to receive the pot.
It was steaming hot.

I hurriedly kept it aside, and examined my hand.
It had become red due to the hot pot of stew.
Anya laughed beside me and said," stop being childish."

I took my tongue out at her and said," i don't know whether you are hungry or not..but I am, okay?"

"Okay husband," and she then winked at me.

I rolled my eyes while putting the vegetable stew on my plate, Alhamdulillah! That they decided to make plain rice too.

After eating, they let us be alone.
Everyone that was present in our village wedding, decided to call it a day and went back to their huts.
Anya and i had a Hut too.
