Chapter Ten

Anya's P.O.V.

There was a strange noise going on, i groaned and opened my eyes to look the place where the noise was coming from.

I looked at Zayd and face-palmed.
This asshole had the uncooth behaviour too...
How could he snore like a Wolf while sleeping?
Wait! Wolf? No i cannot compare him to wolves cause then am including Tyler posey and Tyler hoechlin in it too.
Umm...yeah he snores like an elephant (this animal is huge and so are his snores.)

I kicked his leg a little and he opened his eyes acting as if he had been in a deep slumber.
I scoffed and said," oh stop it! Drama-king"

He smirked and stood up.
I knew he was faking his snores.
But i will let him sleep on the bed cause all i needed was sleep.

I moved to get ready to sleep on the floor but he caught my hand and brought me closer to him, our nose touching, his breath fanning my lips and then he whispered, his whispers sending chills down my spine.
"We can always share the bed, it won't be for the first time you know? And now we are married so it won't be a problem." He then smirked.

I rolled my eyes and pulled out of his hold saying," in your dreams honey."
His throat produced that infectious laugh and said," believe me Coeur, i don't like seeing nightmares."
I put on a angry face while he winked at me and slept on the bed victorious smile forming on his lips.

I looked at my bed, which was the floor and sighed sleeping on it.

"No please don't," i tossed on my other side.
There are voice am hearing.
Then suddenly i heard a whimper.
It looked like a scared cry.

I sat up and looked at Zayd.
I saw him shaking with cold.
I stood up and went towards him to see.
But then I saw him weeping.

I went towards him and shook him awake.
He opened his eyes and sat up, sweat cascading his forehead.
I held his hand and asked," what's wrong?"

He wiped his tear and said," nothing."
I snorted and said," ohh come on, you can tell me. You can trust me with it."

"I can? You won't judge me after hearing?" He asked.
"I won't judge you, I promise."

"I dont believe you."
I joined my eye brows and asked," if you don't tell me then how would you know whether you can trust me or not?"
He sighed, passed his hand through his hair and said," i trust you but i Don't trust the reaction after i tell you."

"Why?"
"Because you won't be able to hear anything negative against Arjun."

"Arjun? Negative?" I asked laughing.
"I told you....you won't believe my story."
I digested what he just said and spoke, " am sorry,I won't judge you, am ready to listen."

Before he could ask anything else I spoke," yes even if it's something negative about Arjun, I won't say anything."
He gulped and laid on the bed, putting his hand on his forehead.
I laid beside him, raising my head to look at his.

"So will you start telling?" I asked.
He smiled and asked, "eager much?"
I nodded.
He smiled and tucked a hair behind my ear and said," that Saree I helped you wear?"
I nodded
"Its because of Arjun that I know."
"Arjun?"
He nodded.

Well it all started in high school, when I was a new student.
And so was Arjun.

"You know? Arjun and i were best friend before high school?."
"Yeah and you and i always the best enemies," i replied.
He smiled and said," and that was also because of Arjun."
"Arjun again?"
He nodded again and said," Because I always knew Arjun liked you, and i didn't wanted you to fall for me, cause am more handsome than Arjun you know."
"You and handsome? Oh please! And how did you know he liked me?"
"I told you. He was my best friend, we used to share our secrets with each other."

"Hmm...so he knows your past secrets?" I asked.
He denied saying," not all."
I eyed at him and said," you broke the friendship rule."

" But i did that to save the friendship, and anyway I was suppose to tell the story."
"I hope you are not making the story up,"i spoke while snuggling up next to him, his shirt that I was wearing went a little high and I adjusted.

"I never forced you to listen," He spoke a little annoyed.
"But i force you to speak."
"Okay wifey." He muttered while winking at me.
I slapped on his chest and said," i can send you back to sleep on the floor okay?"
"Now now, wouldn't want to sleep away from you on our first night, would I? "
And then we both started laughing at our lame jokes.

"So where was i?" He asked acting as if he forgot.
"When you and Arjun, both were new in high school." I answered cause I was eager to know his story.
"Oh! So you were paying attention?" He joked.
I huffed and said," shut up and continue with the story please."

Being the type Arjun is, he instantly clicked with the famous group of the high school.
In his group of friends there was a girl I liked.

"Whoa! Are you freaking serious? There was a girl you liked? Zayd Shaikh, the epitome of religion had a crush?"

He rolled his eyes, and answered," am i not human?"
"No..you are not, you are an asshole remember?" I spoke.
"Thanks for reminding me Stupid."

I showed my tongue at him and he smiled and then he continued.

But there was someone else on the group who liked the girl too.

"Don't tell me, was it Arjun?" I asked.
He nodded.
"And he knew you liked the girl."

"Nop, I told you that he didn't knew all my secrets."
"Oh! You sacrificed your crush for Arjun?"
"Let's say, none of us sacrificed."

"What?"
He kissed my forehead and said," am sleepy,Good night."
"But you have to finish the story," i complained.
I then looked at him and saw him sleeping.
Is he normal? He slept within seconds!
