Running around playing a game of tag were three teenagers
Laughter filled the park while they enjoyed moments of life
The moonlight reflected over the rippling waves of the sparkling pond

Hoodies pulled over their heads and gloves over their fingers they ran
They left the park dashing along the dark roads like Tinker, Wendy and Peter Pan
Families have dinner while these three girls roamed the streets all night long
Unloved and neglected but together they were strong.

A childhood promise and matching pendants bonded them as one entity
Disgusting to the fortunate generation the runaways were still happy
Spray cans in hand they decorated the lonely buildings with skill
Being caught and running away from police was all part of the thrill

All was well till one of their members didn't show up one night
Well into the night the two girls went to their cheery friends home
The door was unlocked so they made their way in without struggle
It reeked of alcohol to the point the two felt bile rise up their throats

They were met with an unclothed limp body covered in bruises
The usually perfect room trashed and glass everywhere
Their blood boiled at the loss of their friend and they stormed out
They knew who did it and they weren't planning on sparing him

Running around playing a game of tag were two teenagers and a man
Laughter and curses filled the park while one was in his last moments of life
The moonlight reflected over the rippling waves of the bloody pond

Say cheese the young police officer said as he held up the camera
The two girls were sentenced to death for murder and torture
Together they played tag in heaven as laughter filled the air
