My job is spontaneous; one that's driven by passion
In the world I live in, I thankfully needn't fret over my fashion
Danger is the key word in this psychopathic game
Yet my intention is still vehement and same
Perennially striving to clear the unknown
Each task deeming top priority in turning every stone

The struggle is never fair
But without such hurdles what's the thrill there?
Instead of hearing speeding taxi's and horns
My ears are now accustomed to missiles and bombs
Its sad how people have no one to trust
Yet the armed forces say "we only do what we must"

The unfortunate citizens that I met have lost homes
And the skies once with birds are now filled with rockets and drones

When I report for duty my heart clenches
Its never easy filming people dying on stretchers and medical stand benches

Here is yet another one which came around while I was watching the news (yes, I watch news, I was tuned into aljazeera)
