He was a poor teenager that followed his childhood dreams
Cheated by life and it's never ending evil schemes

One day he began crafting a new need
One that's free from lust and immature greed

Fingers wrapped around a brush of young creativity
His mind lost in the colour form of peaceful emotionality

Soon a figurine of a maiden took form on paper
One of beauty and a presence that he began favour

Every stroke depicted a side of an untold story
A work of imperfect perfection in all its glory

The young girl in the picture was an eye catching exhibit
A sight worth swooning and a meaning legit

The poor boy fell in love with the girl in the painting
Locked in hypnosis by an illusion that's blind and exhausting

Yet all the girl is, shall remain one and one only
An image on paper, perfection at its peak in his world that's lonely

She's just an untouchable image that catches you till your senseless
Like an illusion, stop blaming karma when you're defenseless
