It had been a week since Elodie gave birth. Jack was as good as gold. He didn't cry much and he would only wake up at night when he needed feeding. God how I wished Elodie, Freddie and Olivia were like that.

They would always cry 24/7. When Freddie use to cry, Elodie use to too because she felt left out that Freddie got the attention. Then when Olivia use to cry, Freddie would start and then Elodie would cry because there was too much noise. How I don't miss those days.

"Mum!" I heard Elodie shout, pulling out of my thoughts. "Yes sweetheart?" I answered. "Come here quick!" She replied. My heart started racing. "Shit" I thought. I got up and ran to her room. When I got there I was out of breathe. "What's wrong?" I panted. Elodie saw my face and quickly said "oh Mum, I didn't mean to scare you. Nothing wrong. But look what Jack can do!". I smiled and walked over to them. I bent down and kissed his cute cheeks. "Hello handsome" I cooed. Suddenly out of the corner of my eye, I saw him smile. I pulled away and said "hello handsome" again. He gave me another cheeky smile. My grin was wider than ever. "Clever boy Jack" I cooed again. I heard Elodie snapping a picture.
