F!Byleth's P.o.V

I yawned as I was shuffling my papers around. This is so tiring! I was currently getting ready for tomorrow's mission. I yawned again but much bigger than the last one. I rubbed my eyes and grabbed my quil and kept on writing on the piece of parchment Manuela gave me. I felt my vision blurring and then clearing and then my eyes started to flicker. I put the tip of my feather on my lips and I started to think. Should I put Dedue with Dimitri or Dedue with Ashe? Ashe is vulnerable so Dedue should be with Ashe but Dimitri then has no one to fight with so maybe I should put Mercedes with Dimitri... But what happens if their's an ax fighter? I scrunched up my nose at the smell of ink and then I made up my choice. I placed Dedue with Ashe, Dimitri with Annette, Mercedes with Felix, Ingrid with Sylvain and me by myself. I smiled and then I started to scribble down notes. Dedue is a strong one and he doesn't use that much vulneraries so I'll give them to Mercedes and Ingrid since they don't have armor. I yawned and then I looked at the clock. It was now 3:30. I groaned. I have shut myself for at least eight hours and thirty minutes! I sighed and picked up my notes and placed them in the drawer. I stripped up my armor and got changed into my sleepwear and then I fell on to my comfy bed. I sighed, as I sank into the covers of my bed. I stared up at the ceiling and sighed. Dimitri's room was right under my room. He is so perfect at times. So perfect. He's a charming prince who I have a crush on and it has been growing every time I interact with him. I sighed dreamily and then my face turned into a frown. I shouldn't have thought like that to Dimitri. He's my own student! I sighed and looked at the clock. It was now 4:30. I smiled and got up and I started to change into my armor as quickly as I can and now it was 4:45. I quickly brushed my teeth and then I headed straight to the mess hall where I met Sylvain, Annette, Ingrid, Claude, Ignatz, and Hilda. "Goodmorning, Professor." Ingrid smiled and Annette waved wearily
"Hey, Professor!" Sylvain exclaimed
"Hey, teach!" Claude shouted 
"Hello, Professor Byleth." Ignatz smiled
"Hey, Professor!" Hilda shouted and I smiled. "Hello, students." I greeted and then I sat down on the teachers' side of the table where Manuela was. "Hi, Manuela, Hi Hanneman" I smiled and she waved to me
"Do you a mission today?" Hanneman asked and I nodded
"Were you up till three, darling?" Manuela asked and a blush crept on to my face
"N-No..." I stuttered and then she laughed. "I knew you weren't." Manuela smiled and then she started to talk to Hanneman. I stared at my uneaten food. I sighed and grabbed my spoon and I started to shovel down my porridge. I felt like I was going to choke, but it was for the good. I don't want any of my students to die and I also need to prepare. I stopped shoveling down food until someone stopped me. I looked up and then I saw the hot-headed prince, Dimitri. "Don't eat your food too fast, Professor," Dimitri said and I sighed and placed my spoon in the bowl
"But I need to get ready. I... I slept in..." I mumbled, feeling a blush on my face. I looked down to hide my blush. "You didn't sleep in, Professor." Dimitri retorted and then he pulled a chair and sat down next to me. "I'll help you get ready if you want." Dimitri insisted and then he started to engulf a spoonful of porridge down his mouth. I looked at him for a moment. Should I say yes? But isn't this like I'm being lazy? I sighed and I opened my mouth. Dimitri looked at me and my blush deepened. "No. I don't need help." I said and Dimitri looked at me worried. "Are you sure? You look tired and I think you should rest after you're finished preparing. I'll help. It'll be quicker." Dimitri said and I looked down
"Okay. Fine." I sighed and then I went back to eating my breakfast. After Dimitri and I were finished, we started to head towards my bedroom to get my tactics and then we headed to the classroom. Our walk to the classroom was quiet but comforting. I noticed that Dimitri kept on giving me quick side glances but that was probably my hopeful imagination. I know he likes another girl. We entered the classroom and I sat down on my desk. I gestured Dimitri sit next to me and then I showed him my tactics. "Um... Uh... S-So..." I stuttered and I felt my blush deepen. I hope Dimitri doesn't recognize my blush but he did eventually. "Professor? Are you sick?" Dimitri asked and I shook my head
"Let's just revise some tactics please." I mumbled and then we started to review. After we finished, Dimitri started to get a little bit worried or should I say a lot worried. "But... Who's your fighting partner?" Dimitri asked and I sighed
"I don't need one." I replied and then Dimitri frowned and slammed the table with his hands. "You do need one!" Dimitri shouted and I flinched
"I-I do?" I asked and Dimitri nodded frantically
"Of course you need one. What happens if you die?!" Dimitri asked and then I started to blink rapidly
"I... I w-won't d-die..." I stuttered and Dimitri shook his head. His golden blonde locks, following his head movements
"I need you in my life. I need you!!! You're my Professor and my be-... Uh..." Dimitri stopped all of a sudden and then his cheeks flushed a bright, crimson red. "The Blue Lions need you. I need you..." Dimitri mumbled and then I got what he meant. He... He likes me. Not in a friendly way but in a loving way! I blushed and then stared. "Y-You l-like me?" I asked quietly and then in one quick movement, he cupped my cheeks and then pressed his lips against mine. I blushed and stiffened but melted into the kiss. Dimitri wrapped his arms around my waist and I slowly snaked my arms around his neck. When we separated, we were both a bright crimson red. "I... I love you, Professor Byleth" Dimitri whispered and I giggled. Dimitri pulled me into a warm and loving embrace and I returned it. I smiled happily and little did I know, that people were watching from afar.
