Your P.o.V

After finding out that Edelgard was the Flame Emperor and she was evil, Marianne shut herself away from the class. Leonie, Lysithea and Hilda tried to ask her to come out, Hilda giving up pretty easily because of her lazy demeanour and Lysithea finishing her homework that I gave her. I am an assistant professor for Professor Byleth because Seteth didn't really trust him but now he does so he asks me to help others calm down from the Flame Emperor's evil doings. I walked towards Byleth's class. "Hello Professor." I said as I bowed down
"Do not bow, (Y/n)." Byleth said. He turned away from his sheets of paper. "Why do you call me Professor?" Byleth asked. I flinched at his question as I stopped getting out my papers. "Um... I guess I used to be a student here? Remember I was on holiday during the school days just before you came and Archbishop Rhea said that she wanted me to learn here a bit more. After a week or two, Archbishop Rhea wanted me to become a professor." I replied
"That doesn't answer my question." Byleth said as he shook his head
"Well, I'm used to calling you professor." I said, smiling awkwardly. Byleth nodded in response. A few minutes of silence happened until the Golden Deer class started to flood in. There was no Marianne in sight, which started to make me become worried. It has only been a month since the Flame Emperor revealed herself to be the Empire herself. I sighed sadly to myself. Ever since I met Marianne, I started to develop feelings for her. Yes, I may be twenty, five years ago and she might be seventeen, but I love her. All my life, I would never let anyone touch my Marianne. I looked around and sighed, knowing that Marianne was going into a place of depression and sadness. I'll never be loved by Marianne ever but I'll protect her with all my life. But my body was telling me something else. To see Marianne. I looked around, most of the students aren't here so some of them are still coming. I turned my attention to Professor Byleth who was doing nothing really, just answering questions the students asked. I finally picked up the courage to ask him to leave. "Professor?" I called out. Byleth turned to me and nodded for me to go on, "I want to see Marianne. To let her go to class." I said. Byleth sighed and shook his head. "I'm sorry. But... Actually. Yeah. Could you also go get Ignatz and Claude too? He always come first to class but it looks like he isn't here and Claude... Well, he's Claude." Byleth said. I nodded and left the classroom to go see Marianne. "Also, try comfort her!" Byleth mouthed. I nodded as he winked. He and Claude knew my crush on Marianne since school times.

I walked down the stone path way, where the people with no crest or royalty had to stay. I found Marianne's room. I raised my fist and hesitantly knocked on the wooden door. The door opened to reveal Ignatz standing in the door way. "Oh, hey (Y/n)." Ignatz said with acid. I tilted my head in confusion. "Why so angry today?" I asked. He ignored my question and kept going, "What are you doing here, Professor?" Ignatz asked as he looked at his nails
"I'm here to see Marianne." I replied
"Who sent you here?" Ignatz asked, not looking at me but look behind to see Marianne
"Professor Byleth." I said
"Well, tell him that Marianne is like... She doesn't want to see anyone." Ignatz said
"She only wants to see me." Ignatz added. Acid started to bubble inside me. She likes Ignatz? I mean, yeah, he's smart and acts really kind to others but now... He's just a mean person right now. "Hey, just let me pass! Byleth said me to come see her and you need to go to class." I hissed
"Tell him that Marianne wants to see me only." Ignatz said as he frowned. "I will not leave." I said. He growled and punched my jaw. My eyes widened in surprise as he went in for another hit but I blocked it. "Hey!" I hissed as I dodged a hit. "Leave. Now." Ignatz roared. Out of my eye, I saw blue hair and I knew it was Marianne. "I-Ignatz! What are you doing?" Claude asked as he pulled Ignatz away. "Go check on Marianne. I'll go to class." Claude whispered to me. I nodded and smiled at him I entered Marianne's dorm. When I entered, I gasped at the sight I saw.

Marianne was on the ground, hair messed up and her clothes nearly ripped to pieces (Except where her chest area is... You know.) and blood splattered around her. I gasped and quickly grabbed her by the shoulders, Marianne now sitting. "M-Marianne, w-w-what happened?" I stammered, on the verge of tears. I felt a tear role down my cheek. "Do not cry, Professor (Y/n). I'm not worth it. Let me die without seeing you cry. Please. Smile." Marianne whispered hoarsely. I tried to smile, but instead it was a crooked frown with tears spilling out of my eyes. "Marianne, don't say such a thing!!!" I shouted. Marianne was quiet as she fell unconscious. I gasped and placed her on the bed. I didn't want anyone to know that she's here, nearly on the verge of death and maybe I should just get Claude and Byleth here too.

I quickly got Byleth and Claude with me. I knew a little bit of faith magic and I had a supply kit for something like this to happen. I healed all her wounds and used the supply kit to get rid of her sickness. I cringed at every wound, big or small. Byleth found a giant, bloody wound right at her stomach. My legs started to shake as I tried not to burst out in tears. Marianne didn't want this to happen to me. I couldn't help but cry at the edge of her bed. Claude trying to comfort me while Byleth continuously tapped me on the shoulder. A few minutes later, I started to irritated. "What?" I hissed as I gasped for air as tears waterfall-ed my face. I looked up at Byleth as he pointed to Marianne. I looked at her. She had the most beautiful smile ever in her state. She was smiling sadly at me. "(Y/n), I'm fine." Marianne whispered. In the corner of my eye, I saw Claude tug on Byleth's shirt and gestured him to leave. Byleth nodded and followed him outside. I stared at Marianne. I jumped at her and gave her a big embrace, crying into her shoulder. "I-I m-m-missed y-y-you, M-M-Marianne. D-Don't e-e-ever h-hide a-anything a-away f-from m-m-me!" I sobbed as Marianne caressed my head
"It's okay, (Y/n). Didn't I tell you I wasn't worth it?" Marianne whispered. I pulled away from her. "You are worth it, Marianne! You're worth everything to me." I whispered as I hugged her once more, but this time, it was a long hug. Marianne started to sleep a deep slumber as I smiled at her, knowing that she loved me now and loved her. She's mine now. And she's worth it. Worth everything. Tears still started to fall but Marianne is everything I want. She is worth everything.
